Frankly, Eric Singer cosplaying Peter Criss all alone on stage faking "Beth" on normal nights is bad enough, but for the final show it actually cheapens the awesome and significant event and makes it a farce. Getting Peter there for 'Beth' would be a master stroke for Kiss, not to mention generate a lot of good word of mouth. Good way to go out.

I really and truly think it all comes down to Paul’s ego. I’d love to think and say that at this point he’s matured enough to let bygones be such and do something like you’re proposing. But I really just don’t see that happening. Just this week a thread was created about someone’s backstage m&g guitar experience. The fan asked Paul to extend a birthday greeting for his 14 year old grandkid, and all
Paul could come up with was “happy birthday, such and such. Where are you? I’m here. And you’re not.” Or something to that effect. In Paul’s mind, all orbits around Paul. And that likely means no room for Peter, or ace, on Dec 2 or any date thereafter. But that’s just my two cents.

Give them, maybe 30 seconds, to say something awkward, pretending like they'd never left the band. Like this is the first show they collectively missed. Then, start up the last song and have them all sing/play along. Very cringe, to be sure ... but also very emotional. The Z00M callers get applauded and that's it.

According to G&P they have been asked and both declined.
According to Ace he would do it if the money was right and a whole bunch of other insane demands, and oh and he'd do it for the fans. So that indicates his needs were not met.

I don't believe Peter has said anything, which leads me to believe he told G&P no (as they have stated) and he's not interested in talking about it in the press because he's over all of it and has been for years.

Paul hates Peter and I am guessing things aren't great with him and Ace either after the shit with the gloves a few months back. I also don't think Paul thinks its important to have A&P there nor does he care.

Both G&P constantly shit talk A&P so it's really no surprise A&P aren't interested.

Personally, I feel like A&P had their reunion and farewell and coming out 23 years later to sing 2 songs really doesn't mean anything to me and I am an OG KISS fan and I am going to be in the building on Dec 2.

I honestly don't understand why it is so important to so many people here.

I could see if Peter was struck down by some crippling disease that forced him to retire 20 years ago and the band soldiered on with a "fill in" for 20 years and they all loved each other and they wanted him to come out one last time. Sorta like Glenn Tipton in Judas Priest coming out for the encores every night.

But there was no disease, they just hate each other and have talked shit about each other for 20 years.

And now pretend you’re Gene and Paul. You already know you have x amount of money that’s going to be made on those two days alone, whether the current band does thier road show or whether it’s a Kiss cosmic orgasm and every living person ever associated with the group is with you that last night.
So - Gene and Paul - what’s it worth to ya? How much would you pay these other people? What’s a fair wage? And remember - if you didn’t pay those extra guys… that money would go right to your bottom line and affect your individual earnings. So what kind of number are you willing to pay those guys?

There’s a definitive number for all parties in these situations to where either you say LOL, F-off goodbye; or you say, OK deal - I’ll do it.
That’s what needs to be determined.

It would be odd to have closure with Peter but not Ace. Someone mentioned Ace coming out for New York Groove. That, too, would make a lot of sense given the venue. NYG also seems like a "safe" Ace song that they can get through without it becoming a trainwreck.

I don't think the chances are anywhere near the same. Peter singing Beth at the last show doesn't line anyone's pockets nor does it put more butts in seats.

Would most fans love it? Absolutely.
However, it's a totally different set of circumstances.

This is my point in a nutshell: if you have to be paid to take part in it then it loses any meaning whatsoever to me as a fan. It tells me you all hate each other and you don't give a shit about being there unless you get paid.
