Tod's songs are the highlight on that album for me.

And, yes, I know I'm alone in that belief!

Ace's songs were very weak on S.S. Other than "The Acorn Is Spinning" not much there from Ace at all.

Tod did nothing for me except "New Kind Of Lover"

I can't believe Megaforce put that SHIT out. They should have shelved it until Ace came up with some good material. Such a piece of crap album.

I don't know why they didn't use ANIMAL, AUDIO/VIDEO etc then

I thought Juvenile Delinquent, and Separate were okay. Pretty wild getting so many Ace albums so fast.

Trouble Walkin is his best release from that era though.

This...I do like insane, and juvenile delinquent is okay...but the rest of it is shit

He wasn’t being gracious, there was a deadline and Ace was totally out of it on substances. Everyone knows that. Eddie Trunk has talked about it, he was his record label contact at the time. Gordon Gebert talked about it in KISS And Tell! and said how the band members joked that that album should have been called the Tod Howarth Solo Album since Ace was barely on it.
