Super nice guy and a great interview. He answered every question I threw at him one day while he and Kiss were promoting the Alive 35 2009 tour dates. He talked about how he wished Peter and Ace were still involved with Kiss. Tommy even apologized twice for calling me one minute late from our scheduled interview time. Class act all the way. Have fun! :)

A nice guy.
Plays his role perfectly in the band.
Dependable.

But legend is a word that's thrown around too easily these days.

The only time I met Tommy, the line was long and took two hours. When I got to meet him, I found out why it took so long. He gives you all the time you want. I told him how much I admired his father for what he did during WWII. What a great man he was. Tommy deserves the job he has. Ace quit. Tommy didn't take Ace's job. Great guy.

That’s sounds kind of neat. If the tables are first come first serve, I would hope people are decent about it, and most of all don’t send one person in first to “save” seats for your 3 friends who are on the way in behind you.

The character is legendary! Too bad Ace didn't hold the legacy in very high regard himself and preferred to cash in on the rights. And that's precisely why there's Tommy the Spaceman now on stage.

If it was closer I wouldn’t snub this opportunity. I’d still prefer, yes even in 2020, to have a comparable experience with Ace, but I harbor no Tommy dislike whatsoever.

This would probably be quite fun. And.... you might be able to really grill him about some hardcore band-related stuff, with no Gene or Paul around. The KISS logo doesn’t appear in the marketing for this; so that must mean, he’s off the leash!! LOL But I know Tom’s little smarter than that

Shit, talk about Movie Star, BNB, Harlow, Shake The Faith, the music that he liked when growing up and the bands he follows. So much outside of KISS.

Agreed. Great guy. Yes. Talented? Yes. Doesn't rock the boat? Yes. Nice to fans? Yes. I love him, and I would love to be able to go to this miss and greet, but LEGEND? NO.

I just realized: Tommy's Meet & Greet might syphon off some from the Vinnie Vincent Valentine's Day event--!! The competition next month will be fierce. Rip may even be changing his itinerary for February, as a refreshing change of pace after two VV events, back to back. Hell ... I wish I could go with him!!

Ever since he dropped his “flying” guitar off the hook. Have u seen that footage? Then it also ties into Spaghetti &....

And lastly....
He’s a meatball for doing whatever G&P ask him to. Stand up for yourself once in awhile. Tell them you don’t want to sing Shock Me & basically copy Ace’s solo spot note for note every night. Fight for some originality so that he can bring some of his own magic/talent to the Kiss table (instead of spaghetti and MEATBALLS.)

How’s that?

It's only degrading in the eyes of people who object to him wearing the makeup. And as we've seen, that's a small minority.

How’s that?

You are assuming he doesn't want to do those things. If he does want to, why would he complain?
Maybe because it’s degrading?
That's funny. Degrading. lol. In that case, 99% of work is degrading, by that standard.

Disagree. I've done some voluntary work with disabled kids which was well worth doing, hopefully for all parties.

I also don't see why any form of gainful employment would seem "degrading" to an individual unless they felt "above" doing it in some way.

Yep. Really varied and wonderful taste and influences.
Which is why Id love him to do a project that is a passion to him away from the day job with Kiss. Same with Eric and his passions
Clearly he can apply himself in any situation. Greatly respected and TBH, Id much rather meet Tommy, or Bruce over Ace any day.
Genuine and lovely guy. and with do far more than look disinterested, thumbs up and point at you once the cheque clears

Voluntary work, as in volunteering?

Being used by the machine to make money whilst paying me as little as possible...yes...I am above that.

As we all are.

Yes, voluntary work - volunteering - doing a job or jobs for non-financial reasons.

I've done several events for Disabled Kids, Children in need and for a Women's shelter. I felt less like a peice of shit those days.

If it was closer to me, I'd go. Met him twice already. Nice guy, plus he's a member of KISS.
He doesn't do many appearances on the east coast

Hopefully there is no rush as I believe Tommy is providing the table service. He serves the appetizers first for the guests, then their spaghetti dishes, and then tops up their after dinner coffees..

Sad that you are that way, through whatever life has dealt you. I love my career, helping others, and most of my friends are the same way. MAking a good living at what you love doing is something I always aspired to. I try and help my team acheive the same thing.

Is it sad that I feel like I'm entitled to more than 3.4% of what I earn for my company?

No, I don't think it's sad that my eyes are open.

Besides, for every 1 person living in their dream job, there are another thousand being taken advantage of like I am.

And honestly, I like my job.
