This is my first post with this user, I forgot the old one that I used a few years ago, I've been around since 2006-2007 but I usually don't post anything, I enjoy reading the discussions and I've learned a lot about Kiss thanks to you guys, I remember people like HeyMan ( tbh he was so annoying), Spirit76, HankHabanero (he was funny as hell), my favorites moments were when the videos from the Kruise playing "The Oath" were posted and people were amazingly positive about it, also I enjoy a lot the start of the tour threads and when some of you guys share their experience meeting some member of the band or during the M&G, and now I enjoy Nibbler's post, he gets a lot of heat sometimes but I think he does his research of information just to keep us informed without any other particular intention, I enjoyed the redinthesky review of the show he attended because I didn't think that he would attend any shows of this tour and it was an honest and positive review, also I usually dig the post from Necronomicon, ForeverTJ, MrSlow, there's a lot of great people around, as I said before, every day I learn something new about this amazing band, thanks to the admin for this amazing place!

There’s so many great posters and memories here that I wouldn’t know where to start. I knew who most of the regulars were well before I joined up from years of lurking.

Hank’s posts were enjoyable, 67321 (where are you dude?) always made me laugh, His Majesty is another who has me spitting liquids on my computer.

It was our one and only Nibbs who convinced me to join up after meeting him in Youngstown on the Freedom To Rock tour.

Each and every one of you bring something to the table and I enjoy hanging out here with you all and discussing all things KISS and everything else.

Long live the FAQ!
Much love back to you Brother Psycho. I’m glad you finally joined. You’re far and above the pettiness that most of us get dragged into here.

Me? The way I’m wired I can’t resist a red flag waved in my direction no matter how hard I try. Not that I ever try for that matter. :D

Let’s hope for another Youngstown run.

I was there in Youngstown, Nibbs. Did you see the steroid taking monster police officer with the tribal tats? NO one is messing with that guy.
I didn’t catch him Brother Teej, sounds serious. Personally I haven’t touched the stuff since ‘88. It’s au naturale for me brah. We’re all young and stupid once.

All I really remember about the joint was thinking it was very similar to Mohegan, a lot of penguins throughout, and meeting my main man Brother Psycho.

He came up to me and said, “Hey...you’re The Nibbler, right?”

Just to mess with him I said, “Pardon me? I know not of this Nibbler you speak of.”

Brother Psycho countered with, “Nah nah man...you’re The Nibbler alright!”

Then I grabbed ‘em and pulled ‘em in for a big KISS Army hug.

Great show too. I loved that tour.

Great times.

This place is all things KISS, the good , the bad, and the ugly wigs. I have been here many years, since they shut down the old Kiss message board that used to be "the one"and for some reason cannot remember the name of it, maybe the KISS ASYLUM? . Hell, does anyone remember the old groups? Was it rec.music.KISS?? There was a nutjob from California with a user name of GOTPLAN that was insane. He threatened everyone with his shovel.

I thinks one of the funniest threads was when Vinnie got arrested and we got to see his mugshot. That picture still cracks me up.

They were both awesome. But yes, Don and Jimmy had amazing chemistry.

Nothing like taking the train as a young teen to MSG to catch some pro wrestling.

My favorite was when The Gooch threatened to burn the "I" tape if it didn't get sold. That moment actually motivated me to create a username and join the FAQ instead of lurking.

Since joining in 2013--- in my opinion--- the most memorable comments are the ones from The Sphinx, Mulder, and Crimson Harpoon. Whether one agreed or disagreed with them on all-things KISS, their comments and discussions were often thought-provoking, well-written, and entertaining. For that, I sincerely applaud them. Respect. 8)... :|

I enjoyed Hank Habanero, Spirit was a fun blue Kool-Aid drinker. I was happy he took his kids to see KISS in 2009 and had an enjoyable time if I recall.

I love the crazy excitement and discussion when Paul added a new vest to how outfit in 2009 before Sonic Boom in South America.

The excitement of KISSOLOGY on the board was great.

And there was a troll who I think made two accounts but was pretending to be him and his brother having conversations between each other here on the board. Stuff had me rolling.

I've been gone for a million years it seems. Haven't kept up and have no knowledge of some of the more recent things mentioned but some of the old stuff I'd forgotten about. Spirit was probably my favorite.

What always surprises me is the duration of this place. It just refuses to die lol. And I’m grateful. I’ve been a member since 2009 and posted, to varying degrees, somewhat consistently since then. There’s been so many outright fking outrageous things said and done on here...some kiss related, others not. But it’s all in good fun. Here have been plenty of folks on here who’ve given me a tremendous headache. And I’d be lying if I said I did t take pleasure in knowing I’ve done the same for some others. 😎 All in all it’s good fun and affords what I consider to be the most loyal and informed/invested kiss fans on the planet a place to convene, share thoughts, dispute opinions, and be dumb together. That’s a welcome break in the madness and chaos of life. And at its core, I think that’s why we all come here.
Very well said :D
I agree. And I'd like to take this opportunity to apologise for being part of the derailing of the thread re. VV Christmas promo video.
Admin locked the thread just before I could tell you all that I sort of worship RR because he is one of the main reasons why Ozzy Osbourne still has a solo career these days.
And Admin, you might be from Barcelona and you can call yourself Manuel but you know nothing! (some probably don't get this?)
But seriously, thanks for making it all possible for us fools here on the FAQ! Cheers.

Oops, may have been coincidence. I’d referred to something in star_paul12’s post in the last thread.

Peterin Orlando and the fucking insane 3D KISS stage animator threads were the greatest.

Wow thanks for the shoutout!

Part of the reason I’m still so engaged with KISS is because of the content of this place. I don’t think that I would have been so interested in this band if there wasn’t the tour documentation and interesting discourse. There’s also so many spinoffs of KISS that touch so many parts of the music industry. It’s really fascinating.
