That is typically how business works. Once they realize that they won't make the profit they want, they move on to the next thing. None of these projects are done just for the die hards, it would be delusional to believe they would do that.
In business usually if you pay for something you either get it/get your money back or the business goes bust/bankrupt or sued?
Yes, that would usually allow for a class action lawsuit. Think back to the Best Buy bonus disc that many people didn't receive. Suddenly a download option was available because they failed to deliver it. It does require an organized response and an attorney with the experience.

On the subject of Dubai, were official numbers ever released regarding how many actually watched it? I know there was that 11 or 12k figure up in the corner, but I made the assumption that was the amount watching it on that particular platform.

I'm guessing it was miles away from setting any records...if it was even close we'd have heard about it long before now.

I'd be more curious how many bought the larger packages that included Blu-rays and vinyl...and is that the cause of delay, that those purchased packages were so few that they're going to lose their ass having them made?

Refund or not, pretty shitty of them to hold people's money for ammost a year collecting interest on it.

So it would seem KISS and Ros are using the same business model - but at least Ros responds on some level even if it is bullshit.

You have seen current interest rates, right? They likely didn't earn enough interest to buy a cup of coffee.

Still its more money in their pocket, regardless of the interest rates.

You should request (demand) a full refund.

I didn't pull the trigger on preordering the physical copy, but I was hoping to buy one when it hit the market. That said, I do suspect that Gene and Paul are unaware of this delay. I know that may seem ridiculous to state, but the reason I say that is because Gene and Paul ARE all about providing GOOD service for paying customers. And since we haven't gotten an official update from them yet, I suspect they have no idea. I think they would be embarrassed and appalled by this. Some of you have compared it to [the-book-that-shall-be-unnamed], and rightfully so. But that's not typical of official KISS product and service! The problem is, who is able to ask them about it? ((Shrug))

My credit card company is filing a dispute, I have emailed so many different people and they all say it’s someone else I need to email. I’m done and so disgusted I don’t want the stuff anymore!

Exactly I watched it once live at a gathering on NYE, or early NYD my time and enjoyed it in the moment.. It was cool, was fun; an enjoyable experience. No desire to own a copy or revisit it at all.

But KISS fans - and being ripped off - seems to be going more hand in hand lately.. Whether its a clueless deceptive con-artist like say a Radley, or there's other failed book projects(i.e. Harte's) , or even so called legit offical band products? A lot of people seem to be getting ripped off more lately. Not cool..
