Someone recently posted about the sponges from the Dynasty Tour. Anyone still have the little flashlights they sold? I remember on the way home after the show, my sister and I had a flashlight war. Wish I still had mine.

Used to have one - definitely one of the rarities from back then as you never see these things nowadays

Never had one. I don't think they were at the merchandise table when I saw them 7/24/1979 at Madison Square Garden

I don't recall seeing them at MSG on 7/25/79 either.

what i read is they were only sold at a few shows

Of course they were tiny flashlights and you could use them as such…

But the real reason for selling them at the KISS concerts were for kids to hold up in the air instead of lighters or matchbooks so that the place “lit up like a Gosh Darn Christmas Tree!”

That was a popular flashlight in the 70s. I had a Barnum and Bailey Circus one just like that but not a Kiss one. Fun times.

I think they also sold a yellow one as well. I still have my program and Ace button from the show. But never could recover the flashlight.

yeah looks like they only made 2 colors and just limited supply to those few shows

I surprised KISS doesn't sell those balloons that are on sticks that light up saw them everywhere when i went to watch fireworks kids just having a ball with them

So...what was the purpose of the top flipping open? Was it like a lid to protect the bulb maybe?

And where was the switch?
