Same response here. I checked Pollstar as well and didn't see it either. If this were to be announced, you bet I'd buy a couple of tickets, get the wife in the car and road trip to St. Louis!

I'll always be happy to see Alice.
But I wouldn't go see Ace. 2019's show was enough for me.

It's at Centene Ice Center... my kid plays hockey there.

I want to go to this, partially, just to attend a concert at Music Park. :)

If Ace puts time into rehearsing and preparation he can deliver and the show will be a gift to Kiss and Alice fans.
If Ace shows up unrehearsed as he did lately it’s gone be an embarrassment

What size venues will they go with this?

I can't see Alice playing clubs. He has been doing well as a special guest for bigger acts that keeps him in arenas'

I am not a huge Alice fan. I have seen him a couple of times and don't really care if I see him again or not.

I like seeing Ace in clubs. It is cheaper in a club, and I feel that where he is at career-wise, clubs is where he should be.

If pairing them together pushes Ace out of clubs, then certainly ticket prices will be higher as well.

At that point I would probably be out.

The quality of what Ace delivers at this point in his career, combined with my lack of caring about Alice, limits how much I would be willing to pay.

The Brookhaven Amphitheater holds 3,000 seats and 4,000 for the lawn. I’ve regularly seen <1,000 attendance concerts in the venue but have seen it to capacity with Steve Augeri led Journey way back when.

Steve was MUCH better than Arnel if you ask me.

Wonder why Ace isn't playing the first and last shows.

But the rest, 24 shows in 35 days, we all know Alice is superhuman for his age, but can Ace keep up that pace?

Maybe Thomas Thayer will be playing off stage? Haha. In all seriousness, I want to see this show but the two closest to me are during the week. Gonna see what I can do about work.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they sold out Detroit.

They’ve done it before.

I bet there will be an unknown band play for 20 minutes starting at 7 p.m. Ace will play a 30 minute set max starting around 7:50 P.M. Then Alice will go on around 8:45.

I'm pretty sure Ace did an hour in Australia w/Alice on multiple dates... usually 12 songs a nite, plus two solos (Bass & Guitar); that's not 30 minutes...
https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/ace-freh ... 31564.html
he also did a show w/Alice at the Greek in L.A. a few summers ago. 9 songs + solo... that might be 45 minutes.

They are apparently festival dates and Ace wasn't on the bill... Welcome back, btw.

I'd be interested in this, but with Ace opening I'm going to assume his set won't be long enough to justify travelling for. I'm sorta interested in Alice, but I'd never travel to see him. If they were actually playing my city, I'd likely go.

I'm just basing my opinion on his age, recent show reviews in the past several years and 24 shows in 35 days including several back to back nights. Does he have the stamina, the testicular fortitude, to perform at a high level for more than 30 minutes each night?

HEB Center holds 8,000. I'm still upset that I missed Alice in 2019 when he had Halestorm open up for him. This should be fun. KISS is scheduled for Austin September 29, then Alice/Ace 3 weeks later.

But the rest, 24 shows in 35 days, we all know Alice is superhuman for his age, but can Ace keep up that pace?
I bet there will be an unknown band play for 20 minutes starting at 7 p.m. Ace will play a 30 minute set max starting around 7:50 P.M. Then Alice will go on around 8:45.
I'm pretty sure Ace did an hour in Australia w/Alice on multiple dates... usually 12 songs a nite, plus two solos (Bass & Guitar); that's not 30 minutes...

he also did a show w/Alice at the Greek in L.A. a few summers ago. 9 songs + solo... that might be 45 minutes.

I'm just basing my opinion on his age, recent show reviews in the past several years and 24 shows in 35 days including several back to back nights. Does he have the stamina, the testicular fortitude, to perform at a high level for more than 30 minutes each night?
It's generally two nights on, one night off... a shorter set than he had been doing. I get it's fun to pick on his age, or work ethic as many spend time doing here, but I think he's previously proven he can be up for gigs that will be a big boost to his adrenaline, ego, wallet, career... 4 months to get ready for it. He is 70, and been off for a year... we'll see.
