I'd prefer Todd, thanks. Something Moved is lightyears better than "2 Young 2 Die." Why he is singing on an Ace solo album (and not a Frehley's Comet or other band sort of release) is beyond me.

Like T13 said, Gene's band is/was cheaper...and Gene also told Ace that Richie was upstaging him by putting effort into his performance and acting like a guy in an entertaining band rather than just standing there with his thumb up his ass. It seems Ace also felt like him listening to everything Gene said bode well for him getting his KISS gig back.

I forget where the clip was from, but it showed the inside of Scarlett's apartment (in the East New York neighborhood in Brooklyn - not the safest neighborhood) and he has a massive horror and sci-fi memorabilia collection that must be worth a fortune. Much props for his good taste. I do wonder however where the money came from to pay for it all. He must have a rent-controlled apartment.

Not exactly sure how much tickets are for an Ace show are but if he plays to 500 people at $40 each plus the bar take that's likely to be about $25K.

I doubt his band are paid more than $250-350 each a show.

I believe a lot of the time he was breaking even on the guarantee after paying the band. Or even going in the red on some shows that his ‘guarantee’ was 100% of the gate.
