Decent idea but what I don't like is; a) it's on new Year's Eve and this is not something that my entire family, who I will spend time with, will be 100% in to. So it'd be playing in the background, which brings me to point b) do it on a regular Saturday night, not a holiday. And c) $50 bucks? Nah.

I will say this - Gene and Paul must be getting a boatload of money to travel to Dubai during the holidays AND a pandemic, considering how staunch supporters they've been of staying at home, wearing masks, etc.

The amount of cameras involved should deliver what some fans like me have been demanding, a HI-DEF capture of EOTR. I think it's the perfect opportunity / method. KISS historically did some cool stuff for NYE, so this harkens back to that, only bigger. Good. I'm happy. This was worthy of the hype. I did check flights to Dubai

2 wk mandatory quarantine, no chance. Bummer on that.

So why do they have to fly all the way to the Middle East to film a virtual concert? Couldn’t they just film it in an empty venue in California? Or will they be playing in front of a live audience? Isn’t that a little risky these days in light of the current pandemic?

Yea its gonna look great a being live on ppv on tv would be better but I guess this gets more people to buy it

so this is going to be live or taped? Wouldn't it have been cool to do maybe a Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday show at Madison Square Garden. Maybe even recreate the Dynasty stage, do it in the round in an empty arena. One night do a makeup show with songs from the 70's. And the other night, no makeup, a set of 80's/90's KISS. And have the fans choose some of the set list. KISS can choose 10, the fans can choose the other 10 each night. I think that would be more epic.

Probably because they wanted to play everywhere on this tour and they know they don't have a market in the Middle-east so this their way to do it? Which I'm not knocking because it is smart.

Dubai is paying them with livenation they would have to pay to use MSG like the WWE does right now to use the Arena in orlando and later the Baseball stadium in tampa

The idea seems cool but for $50, they should include a download of the show later on. Unless this is really expensive to produce? Who knows. I like the different things you get with the $250 price ticket but very expensive.

£37 for one performance where you have to pray your internet is running smoothly to get the best out of it... Not to mention no time of how long the show is going to be, it could be 30 minutes could be 3 hours!?

It just seems rather pricey. I wanna know exactly how long they are playing for, any new tricks for the show itself and if there is anyway to keep a download of it before I put money down.

Because this is KISSfaq and that's what many do. They could announce a free livestream of this magnitude with a VIP package that contained a 100% safe vaccine for all types of cancer and a free box of KISS merch and people would still bitch on here.

Seriously though,
How the F is this going to happen?
-Is this with no audience?
-Is the Dubai Gov’t. seeing dollar signs and ignoring the COVID-19 danger?
- The entire production staff and band are going to travel there? Huge undertaking at this point in the world. And how many people will it take to pack the show up here in the states, get it to the airport, etc? Is that all going to be COVID compliant too?

How many people are going to be in rehearsals? It’s sure not just the 4 musicians.

I don’t know; I hate to be pessimistic or to shit on this idea.....It just seems like a whole big undertaking. I’m sure (and I know) that they’ve done their homework on this before they came out with the idea. But my gosh....I hope they can pull this off.
