I'll be there with bells (and rain poncho) on. It will be my 3rd show of the tour and 97th overall. I'll be the guy in Section B with the Cesspool shirt on!

The Philly show in March was awesome, hard to top that, but this may be our last time seeing the Hottest Band in the World!

PA the night after Brooklyn....it still amazes me how a show like that can be taken apart, loaded, transported, unloaded, and put together again for a show the next night. Have a good time to the Faqers attending

None that I know of. My co-pilot and I are going to dine at Iron Hill Brewery before hand. There's a public parking garage next to it that's free. I usually park there and walk to the stadium. It's a 20 minute walk, but it's free and incredibly easy to get out of and on the road.Ace of Bass wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 6:23 pmHave a blast. Over in that neck off the woods leaving the shed in Burgettstown is an absolute horror show. It’s a dead stop for an hour or two. A shed’s a shed and Jones Beach can get congested also, but there’s more exits. A little known fact is VIP parking comes with its own little tributary highway. No bullshit. I can be home in less than 10 minutes after I start the car. It’s absolutely key!Ace of Bass wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2019 11:32 amSmart man. Ah, you can tell you’ve done this before. For those not familiar with the region, Weirton is a wise move whether driving or flying into Pittsburgh for a Key Bank Pavilion show, given the location of the shed and the airport. The uninitiated fall for the “I need to stay in Pittsburgh” schtick and wind up stuck in Parkway traffic to and from. What’s your next show, Brother Nibbs?nibbler1982 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2019 3:20 pmBeen there a half dozen times. I usually stay in nearby Weirton before flying out the next morning. As for our screenshot tonight, I have no idea what to make of it. I don’t know even know if all sections will be open tonight. The place holds 28K I think. I highly doubt there’ll be that many people there...papered or not. I’d love to hear an eyewitness account and see pics as to how full the place was. Have a great time KISS Army Hershey!

The smart money will ALWAYS stay in Weirton.
I’m hoping a last minute jaunt to Cincinatti or Syracuse presents itself. Although with work right now I don’t think it’s possible. But there’s a chance. After that I’m eyeing a return trip Down Under or back to the Land of the Rising Sun. I have been fortunate enough to see KISS in Wellington and Fukuoka in days past. I think my new business endeavor should be smoothed out by that point.
Time will tell.

The last 2 sections of grandstand on both sides are covered over. The set up tonight is similar to the Thomas Rhett show I saw here a few weeks ago and there were 21,000 here. There's more people here than I thought there would be, but it won't be 21K.nibbler1982 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2019 3:30 pm As for our screenshot tonight, I have no idea what to make of it. Such a fun show but even more fun was taking my 7 year old son to his second Kiss concert. I also took him to Philly in March. I'm so glad he loves them too and grateful they're still around for him to experience in person.

Absolutely! But it was humid, even Paul mentioned how humid it was, they guys were all sweating bullets onstage. They were late attaching the curtain, and didn’t raise it up to the full extension til right before they started.
The painter did Tommy Lee (or was it Nikki Sixx??); they Steven Tyler, both were excellent.
Section B, row 16, between Gene and Paul, what a view. We were Tommy side in Philly, and got to see more of the full stage this time. They guy next to me and I were reminiscing about the 2004 & 2010 Hershey shows, and the 2011 Poconos show on the Lost Cities tour. We were both hoping this was not our last KISS show, they gotta come back in couple years for another Lost Cities tour, right???
Great show, but a couple glitches, after Gene spit blood and rose up, when he went to the mic to do his, “oh yeah”, the mic wasn’t on. My wife saw him look down and mouth “motherfucker” at someone, went back to the mic to say “oh yeah”, again the mic was off, so the crowd shouted “oh yeah” for him. then the mic was on and Gene said it.
When Paul went out to his stage, his guitar wasn’t working properly, could see him fiddling with his transmitter battery pack thru Love Gun. THen before he started IWMFLY, he said “but this guitar does not work”. But amazingly it came back to life just in time. We thought, there’s no guitar tech at the soundboard with a backup, what’s he gonna do, but it worked out.
Eric was wearing a V-neck T-shirt with the cats on it, rather than a vest, the whole show. But he did don a vest over it when he did Beth, which he immediately took off when going back to his kit. This is the daughter of the guy next to me, great makeup. The place was packed at the start. Paul announced they were 20,000 at the show, and I believe it. We got out pretty quick, but still didn’t get home til 12:35am, now I get to go to work, albeit with a sleepy smile on my face!

Spot on review. I was right behind you a handful of rows in Section B. The crowd was indeed big and quite into it, too. The only things I'll add are first, it was indeed Nikki Sixx on David G's first painting. Second, I like stage better now with fewer pods. It's "less busy" if that makes any sense. Third, I know people are sick of Lick It Up in the set, but damn do I love it live (and loud), especially on this tour. Fourth, I LOVE Crazy Crazy Nights in the set. Lastly, even after 97 KISS concerts all though the years, the first notes of Black Diamond still give me goose bumps from head to toe. The version of it on this tour is probably my favorite with the solo color lights on each band member during the "whoo hoo hoo".Jamcarl321 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 3:29 amAbsolutely!

Yeah, the curtain did go up just before KISS came on. It was odd, though. The curtain hung really low, just like in the photo, until the lights when out. It slowly raised to full height just before the "Alright Hershey!" line was growled. Maybe they were trying to use the lights in the stadium for on-stage assistance. Just a guess, though...

I got better pics with my small camera, but here is the Nikki Sixx painting
Some pics of the V-neck Eric’s wearing. I guess it’s cooler in the heat of Summer.

Were the pods stationary? I'll be at the Saratoga springs show tommorow night and hoping they move
