Just a flip-through of the new KISS "End of the Road" tourbook. Looks fantastic. Go to the show to get one or check https://endoftheroad.shop or eBay. Or win one by watching Ep.227 of the KissFAQ Podcast!

Thank you Julian. I have to say seeing a lot of my personal collection in what will be their final tour book is both surreal and an honor. Thank you for sharing.

2004 was probably the last tour where they had multiple dates in Sydney. Melbourne always have 2 or 3 shows. In saying that, KISS have hit more regional towns like Mackay in 2013 and Newcastle in 2015 & 2019.

Yeah, went to RTN night three Melbourne and Paul flew out to the platform and there was no one there! The crowd literally ran backwards to surround the platform.

I look at it like this.

$45 band pictorial in a normal sized book...or a $4K band pictorial in a book Hulk Hogan couldn't lift.

I absolutely see that one happening. That's an easy, easy sell. People who went to KISS tours way back would want these to commemorate.

About the tourbook, I must say it is the best KISS tourbook I've ever seen. Absolutely incredible look back on every tour from the first to the final. Every member, every lineup gets love. Even the Convention tour is covered, which made me happy. That day @ Westin Hotel in Boston is a helluva great memory.

You can....Ebay. You will pay a little more, but you still saved by not paying the exborant ticket prices that this tour is charging.

Were those really all the tour dates they did? Man I remember in the 90s and 2000s when they were doing two shows most Australian cities and THREE in the major ones.
There's been a slow decline in Kiss attendance at shows since the Reunion Tour.
Melbourne for example:

Reunion - 3 shows, all sold out.
Farewell - 2 Shows, mostly sold out.
Symphony - Probably about 25-30k (depending who you speak to) in a 50k seat arena for shows.
RTN - 2 shows at Rod Laver Arena and one at the Palais Theatre. the 2nd Rod Laver was curtained off at the top.
2008 - 'Free' show as part of the grand prix.

2012 - The Tour with Motley Crue. 2 nights at Etihad Stadium (same place as Symphony). Only half the arena was used. Both nights were ok attendance due to having Crue as well I think. 2nd night was spotty.

CBF with the rest.
The did 2 nights at Rod Laver Arena a couple of years ago and attendance was pretty good from memory. Probably had to do with the gap of about 5 years between tours.

After ignoring Australia for the better part of 15 years (1980-1995), they've been pretty frequent visitors here in the last 20+ years.

Farewell Tour in 2001 was also 3 nights in Melbourne, April 3rd,4th and 5th. The first 2 nights were sold out.
I think KISS over-saturated the Melbourne market from 2003-2004....4 shows in the space of 15 months. The casuals were sick of them by the time
that 2004 tour came around, especially with a dull setlist and less than inspiring line up.

Now, as has been said, why can't we get it on KISSonline?

I won't buy it at a show, than you beat it to hell carrying it around. Here's hoping they put it up eventually on their site.
