That logo is truly awful.
The guitar is gross.

So, the standard KISS logo is fine as long as it's projected on the screen? Why not in advertising? Tickets, billboards, etc. ...

My guess is because it could be considered "distributing propaganda and/or banned images/references" whereas you aren't distributing anything to outside groups with same imagery. ie, KIZZ advertisements reach everyone in Germany, while the KISS logo at the show only reaches those that paid to see KISS.
