Whoo hoo!!! Show number two.
Can't wait to check out..."The Marvelous Mutts" Canine Spectacular at the fair. Nibbs is quite the dog lover.
I see the start time for the concert is 7:00pm, that's an hour earlier than the rest of the FTR shows I have tickets to.

I'm guessing they pick some little one out of the M&G lineup earlier that day. Don't quote me though. I really have no clue.pete1699 wrote:Ok great ,nibbler1982 wrote:That sounds right to me my brother. We'll find out together.pete1699 wrote:nibbler1982 wrote:Whoo hoo!!! Show number two.

Re: FTR 2016 Show #35 - Allentown, PA - Sept. 1
I'll be there with my best friend Sunday Driver from this board. Can't wait! We are so fortunate to have seen the band together so many times over the years and we were both at opening night of the Revenge Tour back in '92 which was the last time KISS played the Allentown area. That show was at Stabler Arena though on the campus of Lehigh University in Bethlehem.
This is the first time they played the Allentown Fair since the Hot in the Shade Tour in June 1990. I think this show # 23 or 24 for me and fully realize that this may be the last time.

Decided to go at last minute. Glad I did so far. Dead Daisies were surprisingly good. Never saw a crowd that much into an opening band save for Def Leppard and Motley. Good mix of their songs with classic rockers to get the crowd to sing along. Eager to watch the set up of the stage now. Hope everyone who is here is enjoying it.

Had a great time last night.
I had no idea for the video during DYLM, that they showed so much Eric Carr footage.
I thought that was very classy and cool

Re: FTR 2016 Show #35 - Allentown, PA - Sept. 1
Great show. The place was full and the crowd was into it. Show number two of four for me and well worth the three hour drive.
No cherry pickers and no video screens on the ceiling of the stage. Not a big deal but I do appreciate those effects during the show. I do think Paul sounded better than he has over the last 30 or so concerts I've seen. Much more so than in Youngstown last week. I guess he can have good nights as well as bad nights too. Either way it doesn't affect how much I enjoy the show one bit.
KISS were awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed the fair, and I can wait for Bridgeport next week. I'm bringing my six year old goddaughter to her first KISS concert. We're taking the ferry over. I always get a kick out of that. I don't take many (if any) pics at a KISS show...why watch it on a three inch screen? Since Paul was gonna be directly overhead I figured I'd snap one anyway.

I did had my fair share of $6 tall Coors Lights at the fair and the show. Considering what I usually pay I thought that was quite reasonable.

This fair actually sold beer? Nice.
They only recently added that option to the Ohio State Fair a few years ago.
