Flamin' Youth

Cool they're doing these on their page, and featuring the rarity is a good chance for additional quick feedback to encourage them to do more of that.

Thanks! Interesting, but I'm reminded of their first few Sonic Boom shows. What if they brought them up from below the stage instead?

I was thinking that too. I gotta say the first Detroit show was their best entrance ever with them all coming up from under the stage.

Is Paul even singing the correct lyrics? And, he looks lost while trying to sing Flaming Youth.

Nothing too exciting about the I Pledge Allegiance. It's not the song.

Nice to see Strutter back. Be good if they can mix up a few songs with each show.

It'd be great if they'd rotate songs-Strutter, Flaming Youth, etc. I think they should bring 'I Want You' or 'Nothin to Lose' back.

Much better setlist.
Flaming Youth and Strutter are great additions.
Even though I'd prefer a Tommy song, Shock Me is good to keep in there as well as Beth.
18 songs.... That's the most they've played in a while.
Good news

I know the subject has been beaten to death, but I can't for the life of me see any reason for a band to vary a set list on a show to show basis.

Flaming youth sounds good minus the vocals and that solo. That solo was butchered to hamburger meat.

 Really?

Keep the fanbase talking and posting on social media, more media coverage on the rock pages, the blabbermouths, etc of this world. More positive press due to the effort put in, and the surprise factor for their fans.. Less going through the motions reports, posts, and articles...

Strong enticement for the true fans to attend multiple shows.

Better sales ahead of time due to that surprise factor show to show.

Less stalling of sales and the need to discount heavily the remaining tickets...

and that's just for starters...

Hope they keep mixing it up. Still wish they would add a Tommy and Eric song from either SB or Monster. All four are solid songs and would be a fun, unexpected little addition to the set list.

Eric's songs sure but Tommy's songs on both albums were not good at all. Would be nice to hear him sing a normal song, not one with corny lyrics. I would like to see Gene sing Unholy & Paul sing All Hell's Breakin Loose, both would be cool to hear live.

Yep and Yep.
Like I've said, that's what happens with Pearl Jam.
I have friends that go all over the country to hear them because they know they're getting different and creative setlists. It absolutely creates excitement in the fan base. And if Kiss just did 1-2 rare songs it would work wonders.
For Example, many on here still refer to the Rock the Nation set as great because of the different songs they played.

Meh. What % of the attendees of the concerts care about any of what you talked about. It's cool for the 150 diehards, but changing the set from Monday to Tuesday is not going to amount to any significant profit increases for KISS, in my opinion.

All For The Love Of The Rock And Roll works great live so that one would be a nice addition. Plus, it's a damn good song. All For The Glory is also a decent tune, so it would be nice to see how that song would go over in a live setting.

So, Basically now, they just need to get "Sweet Pain" & "Great Expectations", from "Destroyer", out there & done live !

Would be interesting to see how they will do " Great Expectations ".

Will they play it like it was originally demo'ed ?

Will they do it like on the record but with only them singing ?

Or Will they bring in a local youth group to help them sing it ?

But it does make the shows more valuable to fans. Shows become collectible for those song choices. The night Gene sings Back To The Stone Age, I would want that. If it started looking like they were switching it up every night, I’d want to attend a couple more shows on that tour. A little more repeat business from 150 diehards, several extra thousand bucks a night, not a bad thing.
