Re: KISS Europe 2015 - Paris, June 16
I'll be there !
The Zénith is a cool mid-sized arena (shaped like an indoor amphitheater). Capacity of about 6'200 for a rock concert (floor standing and seated in the rest of the arena). Seems like about 5'000 tix were sold to this day (80%). I hope for a near sol out the night of the show.
Kiss played the Zénith in 1988 before a 3'000 crowd and sold it out during the Reunion Tour.
Saw them a few days ago in Zürich and can't wait seeing them again in this more little arena.

I'm going as well. I couldn't make it to Aces show today - the metro line wasn't working and the taxi would've costed a fortune (((

Looking at the interactive map that sounds about right to me. I'd love to hear an eyewitness report after the show.miouzic wrote:I'll be there !

Could hear the acoustic set from outside. Mostly Standard songs, but they played LHAIC

Re: KISS Europe 2015 - Paris, June 16
Just back from the show.
It was a very enjoyable night. The crowd was in a good mood, i think about 5'500 people in this about 6'000 capacity hall. Paul was in top form and high spirit. He seems younger than these past years ! A very nice show, I love this pretty " simple" stage. During the Black Diamond intro , Paul let two kids climb on his little stage , we could see the father in Paul, the crowd went nuts. Paul voice was not that bad.
A great night !

Great show! I enjoyed it much more than 2013 ones. The band was in great spirits and the atmosphere was great. The place was quite full, there were some empty spots at the back of the arena, but overall pretty full. If the arena holds around 6000 then I think about 5500-5800 people were there.

Just one more thing. I noticed that one item was selling very well yesterday night : the Tommy Thayer photograph with 3 guitar pics included (30 euros). The younger fans (15-25) seemed loving it...

That's because they only see the spaceman. They couldn't give a flying fuck who's designed it or who wears the make-up. In this case, money talks and bullshit walks.miouzic wrote:Just one more thing. It seems to really bother you that someone may actually like Tommy Thayer. Personally, I never bought the Tommy Thayer package at the shows I've been to but wouldn't knock those who do.

Yes, you are absolutely right. We here in Europe are of course illiterate, uneducated, uninformed, ignorant, dumb and in general just thankful that such a famous band - ANY famous band - from the promised land has decided to finally grant us an audience. We can't read, don't have the Internet (in fact, we don't even know what it is...) but we already have running water and electricity. In big cities. In Western Europe.kisssick wrote:That's because they only see the spaceman. They couldn't give a flying fuck who's designed it or who wears the make-up. I was talking about the so called mass of people who became fans in the last 10 to 12 years or so. Sure there are people who like TT. I like him as a person too. I'm not angry. Just sayin that most people only care about the spaceman. Not the person behind the spaceman. You saw my post in a wrong point of view. I'm not insulting anyone.

You know, when you go around looking to be offended by American responses you'll eventually find it. This had nothing to do with poor, ol' Europe or big, bad America. The same criticism has been thrown at American fans, too. So grow a set.GermanKissFan wrote:Yes, you are absolutely right. As for the USA being a "promised land", why don't you criticize the original source of that comment? European emigrants.
