Some young KISS Army honeys on the way in to electric church!!! Boy do I wish I was there. There's NOTHING like a KISS concert. I really feel sorry for those that can't find that magical feeling anymore. Thank God I'm not one of them. I hate to say it but better them than me.

A little sleuthing tells me there was a little delay tonight because because of stage production. It's seems the gates opened an hour and forty minutes late. It seems the show finally went on as planned.

I didn't see any cotton candy.

It's a sarcastic reference to a common refrain by a former member a few years ago. In order to justify the great crowd KISS had at the (I believe) Rock Am Ring show he bent over backwards looking for any reason the crowd was huge, except that they were there for KISS.

First, he claimed most people probably didn't even know KISS was playing that night (even though they were top-bill for the evening). When that didn't fly he got so desperate he then claimed at many festivals people show up in droves because they want to sample all the candy and goods available, and are pretty much oblivious to what band may be playing that night.

There is lots of humor to be found in the bashers comments.

...and of course when the "they are there for the cotton candy" insinuation didn't fly he basically lost it, and admitted that, yes, a lot of people were there, but many were kids, who clearly did not want to be there, but were dragged by their parents. Which, he said, is a form of child abuse.

When the bashers are about to snap is when they are at their most entertaining.

That's a bit too much.

I still get a rush just from watching someone's cell phone recording of the KISS curtain about to drop. And people's reaction when they take the stage. Paul's voice is what it is. You still hear the songs you love and have the experience. It is sad that the people that "just want them to end it!" and the people pointing out every crack in Paul's voice can't still enjoy the moments we still get.

It's hard to see my favorite band go down in flames like this. Paul sounds so bad and has been for quite sometime and to keep going as is... That breaks my heart.
