That, or Paul's voice has had a miraculous recovery.

Another giveaway is that there is also no Paul flying rig in the limited photos that have been posted of the stage and Paul just flew out to the audience.

This is the show from Cobo Hall in Detroit....2009.

Kid Rock is also "out there".

My memory of the Cobo 2009 shows is that Paul's voice was much, much rougher than this. But maybe my memory is hazy. I haven't heard those shows since 2009.

"Say Yeah" wasn't played at Cobo...

People are saying it's Detroit, but "Say Yeah" wasn't played at Detroit. It could be that 2009 compilation, or a mish mash of the 2009 and 2010 shows. Mind you, I only heard LIU, Gene's solo, and DRC.

Not sure what it is. Lick It Up on the Best Of is from Pensacola and he said "Detroit" during the version played here.

Probably wasn't a mistake on the radio's part. If I had to guess I'd say that kiss probably won't allow live recordings to be broadcast due to Paul's voice, so the station assumed fans wouldn't notice that the recording wasn't from tonight. Of course that's just a theory.

I used to get so excited watching the first clips of a new KISS show. Not anymore.
Gene's bloated to all Hell and Paul is unlistenable at this point. He's really dragging
the show to a crawl with his horrible vocals. To allow a setlist dominated with so
many Paul songs is suicide at this point. On a lighter note I do hope that anyone
who went had a good time.

As for the rest of it? I wasn't there. I can't be objective. All I see and hear, through horribly shot fan-phone-videos YouTube, is par for the course.

I watched the Detroit clip he was really shaky...whats coming through the PA is coming through the PA no.matter what device its recorded on. I give it one more year tops. There wont be no new Kiss album s unless he gets a miraculous cure for that beyond damaged voice.

Gotta say the stage looks below average, especially compared to the recent Japanese dates. Very small side screens, and big middle screen with lightning structures blocking the full viewing, and that's pretty much it. Screams cost cutting.

I appreciate the videos here, but I feel Paul is just too unlistenable. It's cringe worthy.

Yeah the regular old curtain does seem lame in comparison. I think they just couldn't pull it off in the venue or something.

Strange.... I have never seen them do Love Gun like that. Could be an attempt to either save Paul's voice or just a change it up to include Gene. We will see what happens on the next show.

I agree with this 100% - WHY all the Paul songs?? He sounds still sounds horrible. There are SO many other songs they could be playing and keeping his to a minimum. Very very sad and actually selfish. If you ask me.
