Hey, kissjrj did you take the closeup pic of Gene breathing fire? its on KISSOnline. (im sure you knew, but anyway)
Is Erics drumkit lit up by lights around it? It looks that way on the top photo and from the clips from the opening night.

Hello! Bit of a silly question but a rumour was kicking about that Kiss confirmed they'd be playing Download next year at the gig last night. Now, most of us highly doubt it but would be nice if someone who was there could properly debunk it.
Cheers!

Re: Nov. 7 - The Joint, Las Vegas, NV
I am glad to see so many people are enjoying this. I am going next week and am selfishly hoping for a set list change by then. KISS, unlike most bands that have been successful for five decades, have very few hits. It is early in this residence, but to keep this same set list throughout would just plain suck. If this set list was one of several they played, it would be cool. Below is my setlist wish list keeping in the staples.
1) COTN
2) Strutter
3) Parasite
4) Watching You
5) Mr. Speed
6) Let Me Go RnR
7) Lick It Up
I Love it Loud
9) I Stole Your Love
10) God of Thunder
11) Detroit Rock City
12) Love Gun
13) Black Diamond
14) Happy Birthday To Tommy
15) Shout It Out Loud
16) Cold Gin (Fuck yeah, it's Vegas baby).
17) Deuce
18) Rock n Roll All Nite

Re: Nov. 7 - The Joint, Las Vegas, NV
Just a few comments from last night:
I was disappointed when I heard that there wouldn't be an autograph signing with the M&G. However, the band and associates totally made up for it. The acoustic set was a mini-concert - seven songs and a couple of instrumental lines. The guys were funny and very self-deprecating in their humor, especially Paul. He said after two songs into the acoustic set, "okay, now KISS will finally perform for you."
I was really impressed with Tommy's playing. Paul praised Eric during the acoustic set and Tommy during the live show after presenting his birthday cake to him. It was great hearing PC and Domino during the acoustic set - the sound was impressive.
I'm putting together a blog of my two-week stay here and will include the videos of the acoustic show for you guys. You will definiteiy enjoy them

Oh yes. It is my favorite song from 70's. Actually, I cut and pasted the setlist and clearly did not pull that out.

So this exclusive KISS store they have at the Hard Rock? Is that inside The Joint? Or just the Hard Rock? I want to know because I want to go there and I'll be in Vegas in 2 weeks, but probably not going to go to the show if they're just going to do the same setlist night after night.

It is actually a permanent store that has essentially been KISSed. It is called B Sides and is right beside the Hard Rock store inside the hotel.
There is also a separate KISS Online station inside The Joint on concert nights.
