Me either! It has been a long wait. Too bad Tommy isn't doing a signing in St.John, I emailed Long & Mcquade & they said unfortunately he is not. I got 2nd row on the floor for this, hope to catch some picks.

Just got home from the show and my ears are ringing . That means it was good. Good crowd it was very close to a sell out. I have to get up for work in 4 hours so I'll put some pics up in the morning and write some more about the show. Good night. It's bed time.

Re: N.American Monster #17 - Saint John, 7/31/13
Ok it's the day after and I finally have some time to give my two cents worth about the show. First things first. Pictures. I took over 300 and you won't be able to see one. They are to big to post and I don't know how to fix the size to put them up so just look at the pics from the other shows. Same shit different day. As far as the show goes I'll just give you my thoughts on everything in sections. Ok here we go....
1. The stage "Spider" I thought it was really impressive in person. Worked really well , great lighting , a lot of movement it was cool. I was surprised when Tommy and Paul got back on it at one point and were lifted back up , I figured they would only be on it at the first of the show. I liked the overall look of the stage the videos and graphics they used were good. I liked the risers Tommy and Gene were on during Rock N Roll All Nite . Gene especially was really far out , almost to the upper seats. Of course there was a ton of pyro. I think that was the most I have ever seen in a concert before. It was great.
2. Set list. I could go on and on with usual complaints about the same old songs again. But you know what, I found songs I usually can't stand were awesome last night. Dr.Love , Love Gun , RNRAN , Black Diamond are songs I can do without but with the excitement of being there I was rockin out to them with everyone else . The only song that still was terrible to me was Say Yeah. Never have never will like that song. The life was sucked out of the crowd during that one.
3. Gene was awesome. Somebody mentioned their MVP for another show. Well Gene was mine last night. He sounded good and I don't see how people can say he is fat and immobile. I wasn't watching thinking he was slow or anything. He was great. He kicked ass as far as I was concerned.
4. Tommy. Well the haters won't like this but I thought he was great to. I was surprised how good he sounded doing Shock Me. I never liked that song but in my opinion he's a much better singer then Ace and I enjoyed that and Out Of This World more then I thought I would.
5. Eric I'm sad to say didn't really impress me at all. I have always thought he is a great drummer but last night to me anyway it seemed like he was just doing what he had to do. He wasn't terrible but he wasn't awesome either.
6. Paul. What can I say. When people on here were saying he should pack it in I was thinking maybe they were being a little to harsh. But after last night .... There were times where it was painful to listen to. Don't get me wrong it wasn't all bad but there were definitely a few cringe worthy moments. I hate to say it because Paul has always been my favorite member. The intro to Heavens On Fire. I could have sworn I heard people laughing. With his voice in that kind of shape I don't even know why he tries to do the intro. It sounded like someone was strangling a cat or something. To me even his speaking voice sounded off. He sounded like an old lady. I thought his performance as far as stage presence and movement were still good though.
Overall it was a great show. Lots of fun even with the vocal issues. I'm glad I got to see them again because I would think they are nearing the end. Paul probably can't last much longer. The crowd loved it . My sister and cousin who are just "casual" fans said it was the best concert they have ever seen . They never mentioned the vocals or the set list. They loved it and I'm sure 90% of the crowd was just like them.

Correction. My sister the "casual" fan just mentioned to me that Paul sounds like Elmer Fudd !!! Guess everyone notices.

What a great show, have to disagree with the comments about Paul's voice, to me & my son he sounded great. The stage was just amazing, best show I have been to period. Had to laugh at one point in the show when Gene was making fun of someone texting, who in the hell would text at a great show like this, too funny. This was my 6th time seeing them & I can't see how they could top this. If I could say one thing to everyone on here, forget all the negativity & go see this show if you can, it will blow you away.

Wow you didn't notice a problem with his voice ? I thought it was pretty bad in spots. But like I said before it was not all bad and the show was still awesome.

Re: N.American Monster #17 - Saint John, 7/31/13
There are a few rough spots maybe but nothing that compares to the bashing that people give him on here. My son & I as well as a number of people I know that went had nothing bad to say about Paul's voice. He gave a great performance in my opinion & the whole show was amazing. This was nothing like the Farewell tour in Montreal where Peter could hardly keep up & Ace was wasted & was messing up continously, this show was completely opposite.
