Well we all know Kiss can draw 80,000 + in Germany without any festival, so this show is a relative flop.

Just looks so strange and wrong seeing KISS open a concert during daylight....I guess they (and/or the audience) are unable to stay up as late as they once could?

Since they're Europeans, I guess all 22,000 were expecting that Ace was playing, since they don't know any better.Spirited wrote:Well we all know Kiss can draw 80,000 + in Germany without any festival, so this show is a relative flop.

Disappointing about Spidey for the past few shows. I hope it gets straightened out.
I'm looking forward to seeing a decent video of it when it actually works.

In our local newspapers it is mentioned that ist was not a sellout. 16000 (the place holds 22000) were there...quit positive review from what I read this morning.

Paul made s'mores to everyone after the show and then Gene told a ghost story about the evil Ace and Pete.

If you look at some of the other videos, it's the rear half of the spider with 6 legs.ace's yamaka wrote:See that's the Tick, not the Spider.
Surprisingly, I prefer the look of this setup over the larger configuration.
Odd but, the stage actually looks better balanced and filled out. It doesn't come off looking bare or sparse like the larger configuration.

Re: EuroMonster #6, 12/06 - Waldbuhne, Berlin, Germany
Just got back from the show (had a horrible jurney back to Prague from Berlin). A very fun whow, great crowd, not sure if it was technically a sell out but the arena was completely full. the stage is smaill in this venue and the ceiling is low. Paul and Gene did not fly and the spider was just a lightning rig, didnt do anything. It seems like they tried to fit something till the last moment, there was even a small stage inthe center of the venue, maybe for Paul, but no flying. The band made it up by energy though, it was one of the most fun shows I've been to. Musically I expected less, the band was tight.
p.s. Gene screwd up both verses of War Machine, Paul completely lost during the acoustic segment of Say Yeah.

Hey Admin...just wondering. What info are you using to set the attendance in the tour date archives? I see you put ~16,000 there when the Berlin metropolitan area newspaper, Berliner Kurier has attendance down as 22,000? I try to research attendance personally for all shows. If there's no boxscore I go to a composite of local newspapers. If you have a site that's more accurate I'd love to know for my records.
