The one band that could truly get away with playing anything due to their lack of strong singles and casuals attending just keep playing it safe. Like it would make a rats ass of difference if they through in Ladies Room, Parasite and She replacing Let me go, Deuce, I love it loud.

With Paul's lackluster vocals they should have Parasite and a couple that show off there chops. I'm not asking for Love Theme here, just something they haven't killed live.

I don't think they will change anything. Say Yeah will stay but I gotta say I'd be happy if Crazy Crazy Nights returned into the set. Not to replace HOF since I haven't heard that one live yet but as an additional song.

I think Say Yeah and HOF will be dropped, but not replaced, so there will be a 17 song set(just like they did on previous tours). they may even bring the curfew thing back! lol

They should hit the stage right about now (or maybe half an hour ago). I was supposed to be there tonight but the travelling expenses would have been too high so I donated my ticket to a finnish Kiss fan I found with the help of Kiss Army Finland. Kinda sucks to miss the show but at least I get to see Kiss three times this summer.

The Stockholm show was great but I really hope they scratch Heaven's On Fire from the setlist tonight, Paul can't sing that one anymore.

Is anyone reporting from the show? Would love to know if the spider does anything more in Helsinki, since Tommy said that there were some problems with it that they're trying to fix.

Of course I'm also one of those cheap bastards that won't go to the restroom or a drink run while the band is on stage. Looking at those seats sold in the far back left corner would make one think they soud evey seat they could at this venue. We'll see.

Yeah I am with you, for the price you pay for tickets I usually get there early and see the opening band as well.

Guess no updates just yet. I would be VERY surprised if this Helsinki crowd does not have a large crowd on hand...a rock band of KISS' stature not doing well in Scandinavia would be unheard of I think.

Best part of the show:

Paul: Helsinki we love you!
Audience cheers
Paul: We'll be spending the next three days here!
Audience cheers
Paul: Maybe we'll see Some of you on the streets!
Audience goes crazy
Paul: Okey, Tommy's gonna do the next song!
Audience: *crickets*

Totally depends on (my opinion of the) quality of the opening bands. With ticket scanning, they can tell you with 99% accuracy who was in house to see an opening band. So, by showing up late, you are in effect "voting." For me personally, when Journey brought Foreigner and Night Ranger, I was there early enough to see Night Ranger. When KISS came through with The Academy Is, I made sure I tailgated until I heard the end of their set from the parking lot, then I came in. The promoters do look at these things. Next KISS tour was with Motley Crue ( a decent package) next Journey tour they continued the three band package and brought along Pat Benatar and Loverboy. If I think the opening band is going to suck, or know they suck...I wait to enter. If they are worth hearing, I am there early. The reason opening bands like Alice Cooper and Cheap Trick are able to get $50,000-$75,000 per gig...as an opener, or in a theatre...is because Live Nation and other independent promoters and venues know that people show up for these bands and it can be mathematically proven that they add to the draw. The reason crappy bands get on bills is because either their label pays to have them on or they are willing to pay for gas money and bologna.

Reports over on KAS are that the main setlist list remained the same as the first show. Have not seen anything about the encores yet. Wish someone would take some ad $$ and fix this damn slow site.

The gig was damn great, the same setlist but I think the audience was better than in Stockholm, wilder or they cheered more, hahaha. Well, the arena was well packed, almost sold out, I would say there was like over 11 000 people easily. Also Kiss Expo was a huge success for KISS Army Finland. Paul said that KISS is going to stay three days in Helsinki.

More details please! Different songs from Sweden? Any more movement from the spider?

The same setlist, the bombs and Spider did the same things, of course the arena was smaller but also the atmosphere was better in my opinion. Paul was rather good, the sound was ok also, not bad echoes, what can I say, they had energy and people loved them. Also Reckless Love was a great support, but they are famous here, The Finnish band...
Here is my video from KISS EXPO before the gig, there was Lydia Criss as you can see in the end of the video:
