He paid to see 2 bands co headline a show, his right. The co headline deal has never appealed to me, but I have enough sense to realize that people are paying to see The Crue and KISS, not just KISS.

Thinking of going last minute but solo as my concert buddies have moved and nobody has the same level of interest as I do to go (or pay the price for good tickets) I have option to get tickets in 16th row center - section 2. Validating doing this as I've seen KISS about 10 x thus far, Crue was first concert ever in 89, have seen about 6x. Plus I've never had KISS come to town and not go but can't validate taking the wife or just and paying double the price as she will be sort of into it but not really, same with other local friends. I can validate paying the price (sort of) for just me.

Never did the solo concert deal but figure if other KISS junkies are there then it could still be cool. I'm on the board reading all the time but never really post.

This is rather long winded to simply be asking the following:

Anyone else on the board maybe in the same situation going that can meet up in VIP bar for a beer before the concert begins?

This sounds crazy but I'm kind of hopeful about Heavens on Fire after what I heard the other night. Paul mentioned it from the stage and it got a big reception.

Unfortunately, Paul says they have to play the hits etc. HOF is one of those songs that I do occasionally hear on the radio. Never 100,000 Years, never I Love It Loud.

I'd love to hear this one in the set again. Let the crowd sing the intro and then just go into it.

Friend of mine who has been to a ton of shows went. He said it was pretty good but setlist was too short for his taste and some with him did not like Deuce being left out. Venue did not appear to be sold out.
