I'll be there tomorrow night...I just hope we get more than 12 songs.
HSOE tour kicked major ass...
Alive 35 in Greenville the year before sucked ass...
I have a feeling it's gonna be more of an Alive 35 experience...

I have never missed a KISS concert in Charlotte but haven't gotten tickets yet. My plan is to purchase sometime tomorrow online or possibly at the venue. Is it possible that prices will be reduced to sale more seats the day of the show? I did the $10 lawn tix last time but if the prices of the more expensive seats are reduced I may go for it. Just can't see spending that kind of $ for seats to this tour.

The back section of the seats(not under the roof)have been reduced to $50 fees included.

What are they regularly, $66 or $89? I've been pulling up tickets on Livenation (iPhone) all day. Haven't seen any $50 tix. Link?

Don't think anyone has mentioned this, I received an email from LiveNation earlier this afternoon informing me that the start time for the show as been moved up 10 minutes to 6:50 PM. I guess they really are trying to remedy the curfew "problem" KISS keeps running into every night. For anyone wondering both Crue's and KISS' start times are still the same. (8 and 9:45 PM respectively)

Thought about going, but none of the kids were interested. As far as KISS goes, they're kinda "been there, done that". I'm not a big MC fan, so that helped seal the deal.

Sales are looking good, sections 4 and 9 need to just fill up a tick more but nevertheless it will be a well-attended show.

These first few shows weren't selling well until about a week ago. There has also been poor weather. If ticket sales are good in these markets with bad weather, they should be really good in areas where they are already selling well. The weather will also help when they go elsewhere. Someone said that even AeroKISS only got 13,000 in Atlanta in 2003. The numbers weren't far off that this time according to reports.

I think Charlotte has been looking good for the past couple of weeks, Raleigh and Atlanta were the real "troubled spots."

I still love KISS, but I truly miss having the optimism and excitement that you show here. I honestly miss it. Before anyone hijacks what I say, the lineup, setlist and stage are irrelevant. I largely like all those things. I still support the band. I just do it in a different way.

I'm sure during the week before Toronto and Darien Lake I'll step up my game.

Holy shit, and it even appears that they cut the prices on the cheap seats. What large city is Chula Vista near?

Just wondering everybody, how much does everyone think KISS and Motley Crue's respective fanbases are pulling in each night? Earlier in the year I predicted that KISS was reponsible for 2/3rds of the tickets sold. So if KISS went out on their own this year to promote Monster and they pulled 12,000 at Atlanta earlier this year then that'd put them at...8,000.

I think that you're close. However, you're ignoring the people who wouldn't go to see either individually, but are willing to spend $40 to see both.

San Diego. Even the shows that were announced in May and June (Nashville, etc) are selling better.

I think Charlotte has been looking good for the past couple of weeks, Raleigh and Atlanta were the real "troubled spots."
If you want to see a "troubled" show, look at Chula Vista.

I think that's where we get a little technical, would these people have gone to see KISS anyways for $40?
That's a difficult call. Maybe 2/3 of them would. :)

There are no numbers for the Atlanta 2009 show.

Plus tickets would be cheaper if it were just KISS.

Chula Vista , you figure MC would pull better than this in California. I sort of figured that's why this tour has a few more California dates on it than usual KISS tours.

You're right about Atlanta, KISS alone always pull about 9,000 there.

Which is rather disappointing for the amphitheater, that's 47.3% capacity.

But I wonder how many more seats would be sold if the ticket prices were lowered by even $10 all around. I think that they would make up the money lost due to added tickets sold.

Across the entire live music industry much more seats would be sold if they lowered concert prices by $10.

Thanks so MUch! After so many years at KABD miserable with DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA .I have turned a new leaf gotten sober and embraced MY BAND ! i JOKE W/ ANOMALLY BUT IT SINCERELY IS jOKING . I promise to only use BIG LETTERS and Colors when EXTREMELY EXCITED !! ....:)
