Always ready to piss in someone's Cheerios, huh Spirit? The 50,000 reported on the website refers to the total attendance of the three day festival back in 1998. Last night Paul, Gene, Eric, and Tommy broke the single day attendance record with a crowd of over 35,000.Spirit wrote:drgbootz wrote:Record crowd 35k reported.

Now, now....it had to be because Eddie Money was there.
And buy one, get one free cotton candy. Nothing to do with KISS.....I mean this is not the original lineup, no way they are breaking any records.....

Yes, people are certainly more willing to see Kiss when it is part of a festival. In these economic times, bang for the buck plays well.

I saw Kiss Play a PACKED show In nashville on the alive 35 tour ... I also saw them play a packed show in cinnci on the HSOE tour .... Not Fesival crowds . You Keep trying to bait people by the festival thing ... Yet The Alive 35 tour seemed to do very well in arenas accross the United sates ...So it seems to me like Kiss are a tad more of a draw then you care to give them credit for

Tha band has earned the right to say or do whatever they want. If you don't like it, too bad.
Saying the pledge is not political. It is about patriotism and that has no party. Neither left nor the right. If you are an American and don't like it, move to Mexico. No one will miss you.

Re: Summer '11 Show 13: 7/15/11 - Walker, MN
The reason for saying the pledge here - namely war - IS political. and do I have to accept it as an enemy of war? no. because I paid for a rock concert, not a political debate. so save your argument that I should stay home. if others get boners about this, they should go to events where it is appropriate. not, and I say it again, a rock concert. The reason why I have a problem with that is because there are children at those concerts. they are educated into war with this BS. there is no doubt that people who give their lives for the country should be honored. but does it have to be a Kiss concert? war is glorified through actions like this. and I don't think that the US needs another war after Aftghanistan, Iraq and now Lybia. It is the same with the army advertisements.Forevertj wrote:Tha band has earned the right to say or do whatever they want. If you don't like it, too bad.
