3rd row center for me .....
Rupp usually does horrible kiss numbers by putting Louisville and Cincinnati on sale first .
I'm still saying this is the lowest attended show of the tour...

A 20 year absence from the city should be enough though, no? Makes me wonder if Charleston, WV would've been a better choice?

Is Lexington a hard sell for artists in general? I’m betting by this evening there will be a good turnout.

Depends on the band ...Country artists seem to do fine , but like I said when you play 2 shows within an hour of Lexington with ticket prices so high ....it's a hard to double dip ....
Revenge at rupp is still the smallest crowd I've ever seen at an arena in my life .
Side note I went with a friend to wwe at Rupp and all over the upper sections and half of the lower sections were completely blacked out .

Yes, concerts hardly ever come to Rupp Arena, especially rock concerts. Even back in the late 80s/early 90s I had to drive to Louisville to see most shows. Also bands always come here after they've already played Louisville and Cincinnati. Motley Crue did the same thing on their "final" tour. Anyone who cared enough to see them already went to the Yum Center or Riverbend

Rupp was also supposedly the place where Paul flicked the pic into the crowd and it went over the entire audience and landed on the floor on the COTN tourThe Man wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2020 11:39 amDepends on the band ...Country artists seem to do fine , but like I said when you play 2 shows within an hour of Lexington with ticket prices so high ....it's a hard to double dip ....

Sounds like KISS should have skipped over Lexington. For the fans that are going will disagree. Especially if they played a couple a shows already in nearby cities.

I was there in 1992 at Rupp on the Revenge tour, too. Attendance was shockingly low -- and it was my first Kiss show ever -- so it definitely stunned me.The Man wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2020 11:39 amDepends on the band ...Country artists seem to do fine , but like I said when you play 2 shows within an hour of Lexington with ticket prices so high ....it's a hard to double dip ....

As for lowest attended, have you seen these dates? Technically Lexington is already not the low water mark.
KISS
Xebio Arena
Sendai, Miyagi, Japan
December 8, 2019
$714,181
4,000 **SOLD-OUT
KISS
Takaya Arena
Morioka, Iwate, Japan
December 14, 2019
$525,280
2,942 **SOLD-OUT
KISS
Dolphins Arena
Nagoya, Aichi, Japan
December 19, 2019
$903,083
5,058 **SOLD-OUT
Even excluding these shows I still don’t believe Rupp is gonna be the least attended show on the tour.
I could very well be wrong. Time will tell.

It appears the late sales rush for EOTR continues.
I do believe the side stage upper level has been sectioned off but for a supposed bloodbath things look solid.

My lowest is Motley Crue Generation Swine tour. About 2,200 to 2,500 in an arena.

I am looking forward to the Rupp Show! I will be in the front row center! I always find it weird that fans question attendance of KISS Shows. I saw them last year at the Whiskey a Go Go and there were a few hundred attending. It was a free show and it rocked! Saw them in Louisville with my 76 Year old Mom and they rocked! Saw they at Riverbend with a young lady from Columbia, that had never heard of them, and they rocked! Saw them at MSG and they Rocked! Each of the shows made plenty of money and the fans that came enjoyed it. Why do empty seats get so many folks upset or negative. I don't care if there are 10 fans or 50000 fans at a show. If Paul, Gene, and Doc let the show go on for the ticket holders, then they know it is a money making nite. I do not think they are stressing. If I am there I am just having a great time!

Yeah I’m afraid this will be my last as well. I’m considering The Ohio date they have scheduled in the fall but I don’t know. This is my 3rd time on this tour and the set list didn’t really change enough to warrant a fourth.

It amazes me how much you guys over in America have to pay for tickets, I have watched two shows so far on this tour in Toronto and the Tokyo Dome both times I had to pay in excess of $200 for pretty good seats in Toronto but i was miles back at the Tokyo Dome, however I have just bought two tickets to see the band in Sofia, front of stage Gold Circle for $55 each including fees.

Re: EOTR 2020 - Feb. 13, Lexington, KY
Found out yesterday morning I get to go to this one to write a review. Haven't seen them since 2004, and I'm looking forward to seeing the spectacle one last time.

Was really hoping to go tonight but it doesn't look like it's happening. Oh well.
Rupp has a new group in charge of booking shows and they are getting a ton of artists now, it used to be all country.
Saw them in 96, 98 and 2000 at Rupp. There were a lot of people there for the Reunion Tour, the others not so much.
There is a country guy Luke Combs performing Friday night and that one is sold out.

I believe CR might actually be madly in love with me.
He injects me into conversations on a daily basis...shit, hourly basis.
I wonder if I’m ever off his mind?
