At 53, I agree with you. I’ve been making my wife crazy this week with the videos. Tomorrow night we do get to sing along with Detroit Rock City in all its bombastic glory!! And I’m sitting with a guy who’s never seen them before so it’ll be great to see it through his eyes.

They sold over 220 tickets on Groupon in the 100 & 200 levels at $40-45 each with no service fees. The deal ended yesterday, though. Plenty of other (& cheaper) Groupon deals to be had for other cities on the Feb-March routing, too.

It looks like, from Paul's last tweet, that the back wall (screen) is smaller just like the one they used in Japan. It looks like they have dropped the spikes around it as well

I'm very anxious to see what new tunes they bring back tonight, my guess it they will definitely be 'hits,' I'd say some good guesses would be Strutter, Firehouse, and for Gene maybe Christine Sixteen, and maybe they'll really throw in a surprise semi-hit and do Unholy.

They haven't touched Modern Day Delilah since 2011 when they played it once, probably because it doesn't really fit in the setlist other than as an opening song.

It seems like we go through this every time they start a new tour or another leg of a tour. Predictions of doom & gloom turn into snarky comments like “tickets were discounted”, “people only go for the show”, “KISS fans will accept anything these days” or the old faithful “the audience doesn’t know it’s not Ace & Peter”.

No I did, I was just adding to your comment. I really enjoyed the show I went to as well. My daughter is at tonights show with 7 row center seats. I opted out as I just can't justify the expense.

I didn't read it yet (but intend to, I'm very late) but didn't Dave in his bio trash Gene, mainly for "trying to steal" Eddie or something? I guess if there was any bad blood it's gone, DLR and Kiss, great pairing for a show.
