I'm not a film snob; I'm kind of an anti film snob. I think those films that advertise as winning all these awards, nominated for tons of this and that, etc. are the ones to avoid. I generally have zero interest in most of them with a few exceptions. I'd much rather watch independent, low budget, and or trash films. I think it is more interesting than the 90th spandex and boots caper or some faux "historical" period piece that is hardly even accurate or authentic.

Well a film snob doesn't necessarily mean loving Oscar bait films, but certainly many films that do win awards are indeed great and they have been independent films as well.

Well, I tend more towards the sick and disgusting drive in variety myself. Schlock, trash, filth, whatever you wanna call it.

I'd much rather see someone impaled with a bicycle than some film about teenagers with poor pull out game.

Has anyone mentioned Maximum Overdrive yet? It came to mind because of this interesting little missive that turned up in one of my Stephen King fan feeds. Some scammers are rather...creative.

Tubi is a great resource for all your B-Movie needs. Rewatched Mausoleum recently and saw Maniac Cop 2 for the first time. I love Mausoleum's opening sequence with young Susan running through the cemetery with her cape and when she enters the, uh Mausoleum, the lighting f/x (purple and green) and practical f/x are so cool.

Maniac Cop 2 is great violent fun with impressive, raw stunt work. Bruce Campbell too!

Class of 1999 was pretty rad. Great cast. Cyborg teachers in a dystopian Seattle. Over The Edge meets Terminator.

Beyond Justice is beyond shitful ... way beyond.

So far, beyond, in fact, that it overshoots shitful ...
and somehow fumbles its way into greatness!

No, they weren’t too kind to baby chub Michael J Fox.

Some great footage of Teenage Head in that one.

Oh man, my list is probably huge. Mostly godawful cult horror. There are so many. This one...well, it's genuinely awful but in the best kind of way.
