Ticketmaster tells us sold out. If my calculations are right, that would be 6,907 people.

Sure is an awful lot for a casino.

It's a nice little amphitheater they have up there! It's also in a good location for those in MN who live further north and don't want to make a trek to the Twin Cities. All your MN KISS die hards will be there, but you also get casuals who appreciate the ease of getting to the venue and its proximity to them.

I saw that too Crown, although that information is seven years old. I'm not at home to check my research but I'm guessing since then they've added the bleachers (see diagram below). A once over by eye tells me that's gonna make up the difference. It doesn't take but a minute to count the whole place with the seats multiplied by rows method. See for yourself.

I'll be there with my 18 year old son (his second KISS show), my 27 year old nephew ( his second show also - took him to the farewell show in Minneapolis back in 2000) and my old buddy from high school.

I still haven't heard who the opening band will be - if there even is one.

Gonna miss out on this one. Had to wait and see if my son's baseball team would still be playing in the playoffs. Of course they got beat out after tickets looked to be sold out. Still hoping to go to one of Gene's solo shows in Minnesota in either August or September.

There's tickets on ticketmaster right now. Decent seats too.

I was gonna say to keep your eyes open as the date approaches.

As anyone who has been going to shows for years knows...tickets are always released in the last days and even hours leading up until the show.

With KISS I don't fool around. I go right for the VIP the first minute of presale. With just about all the others I play the game. It almost always works. Worst case scenario is I get a lesser seat or I spend a couple of extra dollars on a brokered one. A couple of weeks ago I scored two 4th row, center orchestra, aisle seats that popped up day of for the Hall & Oates/Tears For Fears show at Forest Hills Stadium. Top tier price of $150 a piece was well worth it, it almost felt cheap.

Great friggin' show by the way. I lost my shit during Pale Shelter! :D

What time did they go on? Was any reason for the delay given?

They finally went on just before 10:30. I believe the VIP meet and greets were running late. For a show that was supposed to start at 8:00 then when we arrived we're told the start time got moved to 9:00, that was really disappointing.

The show was a great time once they kicked it off. I thought the lighting team did a great job. The band looked incredible. It was also one of the best sounding shows I've heard.

As far as the bands performance goes Tommy and Eric played solid and seemed to be really enjoying themselves. Paul and Gene seem to mail it in a little.

Overall I enjoyed it. I will go see them again!

Yuck. What a long wait. Sounds like you had a good time. Going to a Gene solo show on August.

Got 5th row for this show and really enjoyed it except for the late start. I actually noticed on my Ticketmaster app in the morning the show was moved to 9 pm, then was delayed from there. I thought the band looked and sounded great. Was really impressed with Gene, he still brings it, as for Paul his voice isn't where it used to be. Eric and Tommy were great and as I previously stated really enjoyed the show. Smaller stage so no flying, Flaming Youth, I Love It Loud, War Machine, Physco Circus, and Say Yeah were the hilites for me, probably since I haven't heard then live very much or at all before. Was hoping for Parasite but no luck there, hope to see them again soon.
