Going with my woman, stepson, sister and bro-in-law. It will be the 1st time ever for the woman and lil' one. That's why I am excited. Can't wait to see their faces.. Although I am not sure what their main emotion will be hahaha.

I went to Cardiff 94 I think, can't remember the exact date, but my partner hated Kiss with a vengance and went sulking and being dragged like a kid going to school. From the immediate opening notes they jumped and yelled like the best of us and when it ended, just stood there with their mouth open and then said it was the best concert they had ever seen.... could have gone either way tbh, so good luck!

Thanks! The kid is a huge fan of KISS. Got several Spotify lists with at least 8 different versions of Love Gun among a great lot of other KISS songs. COTN is his favorite album and he likes the Fox character the most. The wife already visited a KISS cover band show and joined me in the cinema for the Vegas movie. But this will be the real deal for both of them!

He is 8 years old. I will bring earplugs and a headphone, just to be sure. He doesn't like loud noises, but loves KISS. Knows most of their hits, so we'll be allright.

At first almost decided not to go, mostly due to Paul's vocals. Today I bought 2 tix cause I couldn't resist. Going with a good friend (we always go to Kiss together) knowing we'll have a good time anyway! Let's rock!

Me and my friend were pleasantly suprised! Paul's voice didn't suck too bad, the band was in fine form. There was a moment of silence for Manchester, a nice sincere touch. Nice setlist, though I was still secretly hoping for Hide Your Heart...
Highlights for me: crazy, crazy nights/say yeah/black diamond/shout it out loud/lick it up

Nothing, just singing along.

By the way, Detroit Rock City is a weird closer. They used to do a big finale during Black Diamond and then do an even bigger finale after the encore, but now after Detroit Rock City it just sort of ends.

DRC ended very sudden, they were off the stage very quick. Where the 'real' show ending was with the 1-2 punch of black diamond and raran with a long final chord and thank yous.

I had a blast!
We all know about Paul's voice. Some nights are horrible, some are better. Rotterdam was not the worst. Paul was in good spirits and smiling a lot. The band delivered a solid show that I still enjoy after 38 years of being a fan!
They made me proud.

The Woman:
Enjoying herself. Looking at Pauls butt all the time. Laughing at his dance moves. Singing along to all the wellknown songs. Asking for earplugs after all. Enjoying the fact that her son is enjoying himself.

The Kid:
Asking again and again how many more minutes till kickoff. Watching the curtain drop and first song through his moms phone. Singing along and clapping to I Love It Loud. Looking at the big screen during Warmachine, as if watching a cartoon. Impressed by 'the effects'. Taking a leak during the bass solo (smart boy!). Falling asleep shortly after. Taking a sneak peek when Paul is suddenly closeby. Snorting during Rock And Roll All Nite!

The Fan:
Excited because of the presence of The Woman and The Kid. Approving the setlist, because his company knows all the hits. Proud of the entertaining show. Less bothered by Thommy than ever before. Positively surprised by the band performance. Loving the video during Flaming Youth. Shocked by Pauls voice. Flabbergasted by his rants inbetween songs. Noticing the band takes more and more breaks to lower the pace. Feeling akward and ashamed to hear Paul struggling through verses. Discussing the choice of songs with bro-in-law. Feeling sorry for The Kid to miss the grand finale and the encores. Happy that the family had a great nite out. Thinking that this had probably been their last chance to see KISS. Regretting there was no Let Me Go, Rock And Roll.

When i was six yeras old my mom bought me dynasty and ive been hooked on kiss for almost 40 yeras now. Everytime they are in holland i go and see them. Rotterdam was special because i went with my 18 year old son,

to me it was more or less completing the circle , altough he is more into rap he was totally impressed by the show, and we wound up singing rock and roll all nite together.

Was it a perect show, no ofourse not, but the bands energy and commitment is impressive, and war machine a killer. Hats off for a band that changed my life and stil make me enjoy their music for all those years
