Noticing something different between Finland and Sweden, between Helsinki and Stockholm.

The publicity in the media before the Kiss concert has been almost non-existent in the major Swedish newspapers.

Yesterday, the biggest daily Aftonbladet had an article about the first time Kiss visited Sweden, in 1976.
Today, the second biggest daily Expressen has the standard formula article about how Kiss loves Sweden and how luxurious their stay will be.

The Helsinki visit got way more buzz beforehand, thanks to the railway company VR's campaign with the four statues outside Helsinki central station.

And in Stockholm, the competition has also come from Depeche Mode, with the premier of their new world tour, last night, Friday.

Yeah, Depeche Mode played Friends Arena. 37,000 in attendance. (Kiss played at Friends Arena in 2013. World wide debut for Spidey!)

According to the promotor, Kiss will play in front of 25,000 at Tele2 Arena tonight.

Just a couple of hours to go! I'm going with my family. My two kids, soon-to-be eight and soon-to-be six, is joining me and my girlfriend for their very first KISS concert. How beautiful is that?

The show was great. Fucking amazing. The floor was not full,but the seats were absolutely packed on both levels. It was an impressive view. Paul's voice was much, much better compared to the when I saw them in 2013. The crowd was much better too. Tommy was the MVP. The guy just owns that stage.

Definitely better than the last time (2013) they came to this neck of the woods. Paul's voice is missing in action, but he's still very energetic for a guy without a voice.

Gene, Eric and Tommy get 4 stars out of 5.

Yes, great show and I had a blast together with my family! What a night.

The band was tight and in real good spirits. Paul's voice, however, is unfortunately in very bad shape.
