Please can someone take a picture of the merch? It would be good to get sight of it before the tour comes to Europe!

I'm driving over from San Diego in the morning. 6th row on Gene's side. KISS show number 19. Can't wait.

I believe the set list was exactly the same as Reno, except Lick it Up was played second, and Love Gun was NOT played.

What?! Isn't that like when Springsteen doesn't play Born To Run?

If there was no Love gun what song did Paul 'fly ' too?

If it was like the Reno setlist, it said Psycho Circus.

There was no "flying" for Paul or Gene in Reno. I doubt the facility was appropriate for that.

I'm glad LOVE GUN was gone but I'm sure it'll be back.

It was a fun show. Minimal staging, no flying from Gene or Paul.
Paul's voice was on the better side of what he's capable of. Tommy was a little on the sloppier side. He botched the Shock Me solo a tad. Gene was Gene. No drum solo from Eric.
The set list is more for diehards and since this was in a casino town, it was a lot of casual fans. At one point Paul asked how many were first timers and at least half raised their hands.
I loved hearing Say Yeah and Flaming Youth.

So KISS is now at the point where they can't do a full stage show because they venues they play are too small.

That would be May 1 when the Europe tour starts.

Funny thing about nightmares....they're not real and they're all in your head.

For anyone who's interested, this YouTube channel has footage of the show's first 25 minutes or so:
" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It's from the back so you can't really see the band but the sound's not bad. Paul sound surprisingly decent on Lick It Up.

On that note, Lick It Up second in the set is a little strange but I think it actually works alright. To be honest, Kiss has maybe five hit songs the general public knows, so if you're going to open up with Deuce it's not a terrible idea to hit the casual fans with Lick It Up early to get them into the show.

Like look at this setlist for example: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/kiss/2014 ... c09ee.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I bet you the average concertgoer doesn't know a single song until Lick It Up, and then not again until DRC. Maybe Tears Are Falling, but it's not like that song has really survived on rock radio.

But I think the super long Lick It Up arrangement has to go if they want it at the start of the set

Someone REALLY needs to photoshop KISS from Phantom into the original poster for Friday the 13th (1980).
