An eyewitness report including configuration would be greatly appreciated.

Well then, a course of anti-inflammatories might be needed for his throat.

Looks like the entire upper level is curtained off.
Even with 2 for 1 tickets they couldn't draw more.
Every Kiss tour since the farewell has drawn slightly less than the one before.

It's not. Not only are there six sections fully open. The ones that actually are curtained are sold on the first third of them. More than likely in the 7,000-8,000 range. It's also a second show where the profit margin goes up exponentially. You can even look at it this way, last night's show had even more people there than a sold out Adelaide. With the exception of the second night at Rod Laver this tour has near sold out attendances every night. If you're gonna be picayune about this tour compared to 2013 the numbers are about the same without dishing out $300,000 or $400,000 out to the opener. I assure you the Dead Daisies come infinitely cheaper.

This trip down under is hugely successful nine ways 'till Sunday no matter how you slice it.

Paul is sounding quite good...better than youtube clips would suggest.

I saw Rod Stewart a few years ago who sounded worse and had trouble hitting higher notes.

Both stars sing within their available range.

I am a fan of both and think it is fantastic they are still able to do what they do for my pleasure...

First night was definitely sold out.
Second night had some nose bleed section curtained off. and the Platinum barrier moved foreword about 10 metres. other than that it was absolutely packed!
The tickets were selling at half price for the last week.. but thats the promoters problem.. KISS had already cashed in!

I never take notice of how the YouTube clips sound anyway. They are recorded from mobile phones and that's not gonna
Sound perfect.
People just bash Paul for no reason now. Sure, he's done some hard yards with his voice, and it's not 100 percent. Who cares?. He's still giving 100 percent as far as I'm concerned.

went both nights. Paul cut Shandi short this night. Slightly better than first night. Got to remember you cant hear his voice when your there like you do on videos. Having said that he sounded better LG was quite good.
The show overall was great and fun. Had a blast both nights. Stage left lower lever and upper lever front on first night so got great views and close up.
