It'll be there as well. This is a venue I have played half a dozen times and the sound system and soundman are excellent. If Ace sounds bad at Trees, it won't be due to a bad sound system. I am not paying for the VIP experience after reading some reviews but it would be great to meet Ace. I have seen Ace with Kiss three times in the 70s and three times in the 90s, but never as a solo artist.

Haven't heard anything either. The "few days" we were supposed to get details was a few days ago.

Size of the venue certainly cuts down on the fake backline. I have to think the backline is on the rider based on venue. The trailer behind the bus in St Charles didn't look big enough to have 6 huge bass cabs and 4 Marshall stacks in addition to the actual cabs and the rest of the gear.

Just returned from the show and have to say that Ace played and sounded very good! It was worth the 6 hour drive for sure!
The place was packed (600+). The show started later than I would have liked. I don't think he really need two opening acts or any opening act. Great show!

Also, Vinnie Paul and Chris Jericho were in attendance.

fyi: Here's a review from a Dallas based music magazine that also speaks to attendance, here... seems to support the "packed" and/or capacity premise quoted earlier...
