It'll be five years since my last KISS concert - can't wait to be at this show! And seeing Def Leppard for the first time is going to be rather awesome.

Any FAQers going to this show, too?

I'll be there. Got offered a free lawn ticket from a co-worker.

Haven't been to a KISS show since 2000, but I did see Paul on his solo tour here in Portland, and it was dynamite. Hoping for another great experience Friday, but I hear the parking situation at Sleep Country Amphitheater sucks.

It's right around where I-205 merges into I-5........about 35 minutes north of Portland......so 2.5 hours or so south of Seattle. 8)

Ace...the parking isn't bad. I've seen them there before. You may have to park a ways off but I have never had any problems getting out.

That's good to hear. I was reading horror stories of cars "being held hostage" for a couple of hours and not getting out until 1-1:30 a.m.

My personal record was Duran Duran (sic) 1988 here in Rome... I slept in the car 'til 2 AM and there are still cars around ;)

Have the attendance gurus figured out if this will be well attended or a flop?

Looks pretty well sold, but still some available in the front sections as well. I looked at TM - is this how they do it?

It's a shed, depends on good weather for walkups.Good weather and a Friday shed show should packed.

I'm hoping for a cheap upgrade when we get there, ESPECIALLY if it's pouring. Don't want to be stuck in the lawn.

Last we heard from the Attendance Gurus they said 99.9999% of the tickets remain unsold.

Will update as warranted.

Yah, I thought so. This tour will be a disaster. Off to a bad start.

Concord has to be the dog, that one bombed at the RTN tour if I recall. That means the tour will be a flop if there are some nights with off attendance. The legacy will then be ruined.

I'll make the prediction the 16 gets switched out this show, most likely for Dr Love, wouldn't it just blow our skirts up if Almost Human was put in for a show ?

They should pull PC and make it a TT slot, pick a song his 2 and any 3 of Aces and rotate them. you can give Paul's voice a rest while looking like you're helping TT out. Most likely though we just hear Do Love love Me in this slot.

Probably wrong about the songs ,but still look for them to switch 2 more out.

As of right now in the pavilion with 20.5 hours to showtime there are ~1450 non-resale seats available in the pavilion. Don't have a pavilion capacity but the venue in total holds 18,000. The pavilions generally hold less than the lawn so I'll guess (and I'm very likely way off) there are 7000 seats in the pavilion (Nib, if you know anything more accurate than that let me know) - that'd give a percentage of 79.2% seats sold with under 24 hours to showtime.

There's an 80% chance of rain so I expect a bunch of upgrades to fill the pavilion up. Lawn folk...umm...bring umbrellas?

Love Gun
Black Diamond

Nothing really new.

Good guess. My research tells me the pavilion holds 7,900. With ~6,500 seats already sold I say that bodes well when you add the lawn and the walk up. There's also the theory that this tour has an exorbitant amount of general admission tickets sold because of the high prices. Then again the rain can't help the bottom line either.

Lawn was deep blue upon my count, so we'll see what happens tomorrow.

Does the lawn actually change color as tickets get sold like the sections in the pavilion do? I never gave that any thought.

Yup. Motley's Toronto lawn progressively went from moderate blue to light blue to grey within a month or so. That really surprised me considering I would have never thought people would buy uncovered lawn tickets months in advance. I'm trying to see what KISS' Toronto lawn is right now but the interactive seat map is unavailable due to the time.

EDIT: Re-checking KISS' Ridgefield lawn (and other dates) is weird...it's moderate blue when you view the sections by color but once you zoom in to view individual seats turns dark blue. Outside of that, the color does change with availability though.

EDIT 2: Lawn's actually moderate blue.

Interactive seat map's now down, the corner 200 sections still had plenty of seats available and there are still $101 seats in 101 and 103 (I expect those to go.) Didn't look like there was much movement from last night.

People that are there, how's the weather?
