Would not mind going but I blew my extremely large wad on Fleetwood Mac tickets at Pepsi Center in December. Catching Stryper August 1st and maybe Night Ranger...but no money for the higher-priced KISS tix this time around.

First-time poster, longtime KISS fan here. First concert ever, in fact, was KISS at Madison Square Garden, December 15, 1977. Saw The Tour and Rock the Nation, both at Fiddler's, and was planning to take a pass on Wednesday's gig . However, I'm beginning to get the itch to maybe, just maybe, make the trip downtown the Pepsi Center. If anyone's got an extra ticket, shoot me a line and I'll regale you with hours of KISS stories - some pleasant, some not so much.

I'll agree with this.alexmai wrote:In my opinion, in this second concert you'll see 2-3 different songs from night one...
My prediction:
King of the Nighttime World
Deuce
War Machine
Hide Your Heart
Calling Dr. Love
Shout It Out Loud
I Love It Loud
C'mon and Love Me
Psycho Circus
Let Me Go, Rock 'n Roll
Black Diamond
Detroit Rock City
Rock and Roll All Nite
Something tells me they might rotate the opener though between KOTNTW and ISYL. I'd be all for that.

Re: 6/25/14 - Denver, CO
"Psycho Circus" needs to go. Sigh.
Especially since it's taking up space of where a recent song can go. Play something off SB/Monster - it's this lineup, for Pete's sake. The less the KISS Army can be reminded of the album debacle that was Psycho Circus, the better.

I think, like War Machine, that Psycho Circus is now considered a set standard. I do agree that they need to play something off of Sonic Boom or Monster to represent this lineup better...after all, it is their 40th anniversary.SaintN'Sinner83 wrote:"Psycho Circus" needs to go. Sigh.

God, I hope not. It's just a cheese-fest of a song, IMO - from an album that is (rightfully, IMO) derided.Anomaly wrote:I think, like War Machine, that Psycho Circus is now considered a set standard.SaintN'Sinner83 wrote:"Psycho Circus" needs to go. Sigh.

It's taking the place that an old rarity could fill, too. It's not that hard to put in a song from this lineup. It'd go over just the same, no harm done. The last two albums were highly received, use them.

Psycho Circus is an awesome song but the chorus sounds really bad live and I agree that they should drop it.

I'm anxious to see if they take advantage of the hockey arena space in Denver, (or the other arenas on the bill) compared to fitting into an amphitheater. ..let Charlotte the spider spread her legs, if you will! Maybe I'll be front row. Won't know until I get there

Re: 6/25/14 - Denver, CO
I know that some here will question the 'highly received' part of that - and maybe start quoting sales figures without context that reflects the diminishing (Rock) music industry...It's not that hard to put in a song from this lineup. It'd go over just the same, no harm done. The last two albums were highly received, use them.
But I have to say that I'm staggered that they played nothing from the current line-up's two studio albums on the opening night. Still maintain that there is some great stuff there - ''All for the love...' is a little cheesy but joyful and lyrically would really suit the celebration of 40 years... 'Back to the Stone Age' is a high energy MC5 blast that wouldn't lose anyone... then there's obviously 'Modern Day Delilah' - I'm not even picking my personal 'wish list' here, just songs that would work, and would give Paul's voice another break ( I'm no fan of 'H.O.H.' anyway - same issues there as I have with 'Psycho Circus' )
Kiss should represent and celebrate this line-up as part of their '40 years'...

Re: 6/25/14 - Denver, CO
Yes, this is Kiss Day Colorado. Or if you prefer, this is Mile High Def Lep day. Or still, the Denver debut of Kobra and The Lotus. I May send some updates throughout the evening, but I'm concerned about losing battery power; and rather than try to be the world's eyes and ears on the ground here, I might just put my hands in the air and watch the concert like people did in the 70's I've been looking forward to this since July 2012. Let's blow some shit up!

No curfew in a hockey arena. I'm hoping the meet and greet people get to watch the soundcheck too. that would be extra special surprise. You think they could be doing a full sound check today because of being indoors??

Sales Update
Here's the seating chart for the Pepsi Center...
You can grab quantities of eight seats from 302, 304, 306, 308, 336, 338, 340, 342, 378, 380 - ~$60.
This also applies for 104, 122, 124 for the $127 tickets and 126, 128, 146, 148 for the $159.50 seats. Don't know if the walkup rate is the same for arenas as it is for the sheds, but we'll see.

379 looks like it might not have 8 seats in it. 305 also. Looks like they'd cut all those 300 seats, looking at pic , they're nose bleeds.Anomaly wrote:There are seats available in sections 102, 305, 332, 339, 345, and 379 as well - except not for quantities of eight.kissthat wrote:Thanks Anomaly, so all the floor seats ,price level 3 and 5 tickets gone ?
