Really hope there are some for the FAQers in attendance.
Still waiting for shake ups?? They're right there!
That just shows how some people are never happy. A few FACTS.

KOTNTW: Last played in Utah in 1996, 18 years ago.
War Machine: 1992, 22 years ago.
HYH: 1990, 24 years ago
Christine Sixteen: 1977, 37 years ago
Makin Love: 1977, 37 years ago
Psycho Circus, 2000, 14 years ago

But, KISS did not mix up the set list tonight. Those people in Utah should demand a refund right away.
No one said ANYTHING about refunds moron..and I don't know where you got your dates from but just about all of them are wrong.

I believe War Machine was played on the European leg of the Monster tour right?

Am I to understand that there is no Gene fire breathing or blood spitting on this tour? That would suck if true.

Just out of curiosity...what would you have REALISTICALLY expected for a "setlist shakeup" for tonight?
Some fans will be unhappy until they play an entire setlist of oddities like The Oath, Almost Human, Strange Ways, Keep Me Comin....
Who wants to hear garbage like The Oath?
If they played the same songs but in a different order every show that would be a shake up?
Get real. It's not the order it's the actual songs CHANGING that makes it a shake up.
So again, what would you realistically have expected them to play tonight to constitute a "shake up"?

Firebreathing probably happened at the end of War Machine. Not sure about where they could have done the other KISS gimmicks though.

You mean Gene and Paul didn't research the Utah archives and hand pick those songs based upon how long it had been since they played them? No way!

I will take the "moron" comment as someone who does not like to be shown they are wrong. All good. :D

In terms of the dates, I stand by them. As my post said, these were the last times the songs were played in Utah, where the show is tonight, and the fan base who were probably at the others shows in Utah.

As I've said in other posts on this site, who cares if a song was played in Japan 5 years ago, NY 10 years ago, etc. For the crowd at that show tonight half the setlist were songs not performed in their home town in decades. To me, that is mixing up the setlist.

Well there are some changes but no major changes. I didn't figure there would be any major changes with the shorter setlist. Because some are enjoying the minor changes they are getting doesn't make them idiots. Maybe you and others like you are expecting way more than Kiss is able to produce, especially because of the shorter setlist. Come back to reality and try to have a little more fun in life. It's obvious you're not a happy person. Goodbye

Sadder yet that some still find anything to bitch about. The attendance wasn't a bloodbath, in fact there's a story out there that a record was set for this venue, being that is also venue specific I guess the normal whining bunch is gonna whine on. DOOMED again , I tell just DOOMED.

Has anyone reported on how Paul is sounding? This set list is weird though.....I like it but as someone said earlier....has kind of a weird flow to it. Glad to Makin' Love in there. I don't understand Paul's love of psycho Circus. I don't hate it but if he was going to play "new" Kiss I'd prefer to hear Modern Day Delilah.....

I wasn't expecting any shake ups.
I also wasn't expecting so many numbskulls to yell shakeup just because certain songs weren't played in certain cities on certain tours...but again like I said, all of the morons will make up ANY excuse when it comes to the book of Paul and Gene.

Shitty setlist. Gene and Paul lied to their fans again, and did a lame setlist. Gene said never before played songs, yet every song they played has been played before. No one would select Christine Sixteen as a lesser played song that they'd like to hear. Why are they doing Psycho Circus again? They just played War Marchine on the MC Tour. The rest of the songs, except Hide Your Heart are overplayed.

They did shake it up a little. But again expecting major shakeups with a shorter setlist is unrealistic. I said this earlier tonight before the show kicked off that i didn't expect anything major but was hoping for a klassic gem or 2. No real gems but the setlist is a little different. No issues to me. Maybe you should spend more time with your sheep.

I think that's what I like about it. While this wouldn't necessarily be my ideal setlist, I kinda like the weird flow to it. Having uptempo songs like Makin' Love and Psycho Circus deep in the set and putting a dark plodding song like War Machine 3rd makes things pretty interesting. 8)

No where did I complain Mr. Podcast.
If you can read, I posted multiple times I thought the setlist was cool.
I was saying that there are a multitude of idiots who will say this is a huge set shake up ( even though it hasn't been at the time of this post) and just so the Kiss apologists can justify it, they will eventually start research on cities and sates to justify the fact that there are indeed shake ups that they are now basing on latitude and longitude because they have their head so far up P&G's ass.

I've got no problem with the setlist. I'm just having fun. They can't do too much in 75 minutes. I'll be going to two shows. Hopefully, they'll both have different setlists.

You make an excellent point, but one that nobody ever really thinks about. In this day and age we know the setlist for every show and every tour. So we hear the same old song titles over and over again. But unless we were at those shows what does it really matter if they played LOVE GUN for the 2,000th time or ALMOST HUMAN for the first ???

And why complain now about KISS being stale with the setlist when the reality is that they've been this way since the beginning. The 70's tours consisted of the same 15-17 songs every show, then 3 or 4 swapped out for the next tour and the same ones remaining. Statistically, the most varied tour was ROCK THE NATION with REVENGE at #2. Any other tour in the bands history has seen minimal changes. To complain about it 40 years in makes me wonder if some people just like to be miserable about everything...

I guess I have been to too many KISS shows over the years. That setlist does not excite me at all. I hope a few different songs get in over HYH before Sunday

Eh they're just looking for something to bitch about. I don't see amy issues with the flow. My gawd can't believe anyone is complaining about the flow of the setlist, lmfao

Yep.....sad.
Sadder yet that some still find anything to bitch about. The attendance wasn't a bloodbath, in fact there's a story out there that a record was set for this venue, being that is also venue specific I guess the normal whining bunch is gonna whine on. DOOMED again , I tell just DOOMED.
But yet you complain about people complaining........deal with it.
You're surprised?
He has a whole podcast built off of that formula.
AS usual , you're dead wrong, I have nothing to do with any podcast.

The rest of the songs, except Hide Your Heart are overplayed.

Never saw Gene say never before played songs. Anyway they did shake it up a little. But expecting major shakeups with a shorter setlist is unrealistic. My gawd some of you are never happy
He said it on Twitter. You worship everything that they do. The point is Gene and Paul said fuck you to the fans. They're taking a big paycheck with the ticket prices, and giving the fans a shit setlist.

Good set list.
That's a pretty decent shake up for them.
We shall see if they change it throughout the tour.
Paul can cool his heels and hang back and do what he can.
Did they finish out with R n R All Night and then Love Gun?
That would give them 14 like the Lep played.

I like the set list. Obviously I'd love to see it 18-21 songs...that way everyone would get a few more chances to sing and songs to jam on...but I am looking forward to seeing and hearing this show.

They do. Not happy unless they get 5 obscure songs. But it's a short setlist, not gonna happen. 1 would have been nice and about all i was expecting

The set was worth the price of the ticket. Everyone paid $150 to hear Christine Sixteen as the rarity. :)

I heard that Paul said it right after War Machine. You only get to hear Gene say it if you pay for the meet and greet.
