Will be there too, although the seats aren't as good as Chicago (and they weren't spectacular). :?

I'm gonna be there!

Like the Toronto show - I'm gonna record it. Is anyone planning a KissFAQ meet-up at the venue?

On Monday I was debating whether or not I was even going to go to this show and sit/stand on the lawn........until Tuesday when a friend called with 4 pavilion tickets in row E. Now I am excited just like I was back in the day.

Did I mention that there were FREE?

Can't wait to see everyone there tomorrow night.

I'll be heading to the concert at DTE....WITHOUT a ticket.

Not worried though, where there's a will there's a way :D

I've done this before and somehow things always work out 8)

You are quite correct. A few summers ago when they did a few shows, one in Milwaukee, I went up there without a ticket and scored front row for my wife and I about an hour before showtime. That was through the box office, and that was one of many similar last second tickets I've landed down through the years. I have full confidence you will be able to come up with something good one way or another. Have fun.

Just got back! Wow, amazing show! Definitely better than the Toronto show I went to earlier!

Paul sounded a bit stronger and actually hit some pretty decent notes considering his vocal shape nowadays.

The crowd gave the opening band (Dead Daisies) a warm reception. Everybody was into Def Leppard and Kiss.

Definitely my favorite of the three Kiss shows I've seen!

Like Toronto, I recorded the show (all three bands) and it turned out excellent! Message me for your audio copy! :D

Couldn't make this show, but received many texts throughout the night from friends who were there, they said KISS kicked ass and the spider is something that needs to be seen in person to truly be appreciated.

If you haven't seen KISS in Detroit you need to do so. It's as close as a rock concert can get to a religious experience.

The spider kicked ass. The curfew was 11, and they may have cut the set short a song or two, Paul mentioned that they were gonna pull the plug. (They had a clock behind them) so they rushed through DRC, and ended Rock & Roll All Nite at 10:59. (with all the confetti, explosions, risers, etc.)

Professionals.

The set-list was the same as normal - except that Paul didn't do the stage banters as long (I'm comparing it to my Toronto recording).

They didn't use the spider. Anyone know what happened? Was looking forward to seeing.

I never seen DTE so packed. Some little kid got on stage with Paul.

Really enjoyed Def Leppard. Great show.

Yeah I was there and although the show was EPIC the Spider was a big letdown for me. Didn't really do anything at all. Really wish it would be more consistent. No excuse for it not to work, especially in Detroit for a sold-out show.

I was especially happy they did "Calling Dr. Love", was a big surprise to me and it sounded GREAT!

My only guess was maybe the stage was too small for it to work?
It was really cool to see full functioning in Chicago.

Get rid of it and bring in a show everyone can see.
