Heading that way myself!

My 18th show and my dad's 2nd (he took me in 1979).

I am excited to see this tour. Two great bands and a killer stage.

Its gonna get HOT!

I thought so. Have fun if you're going. Hey wait a minute! Goddamnit, how about a shout out to the CREW, eh??? Austin the night before. SO - those fans in Austin, will go to the show , have a great time, go to bed... oh - let's say 1130-midnight? 1 or 2 if you're partying afterwords. Say the Austin gig ends around 11... the KISS/DL crew folk will be loading up/out until about 1 or 2 I'm guessing. What is that; a 3 hour trip up 35 ? So that puts them into DFW around 5am. You sleep on a 3 inch foam mattress on a bunk in a bus with about 8 other guys. Depending on what time they can get in to the gig.... you have breakfast and go to work. Lunchtime, things are ready to roll. A few hours later, soundcheck. Next thing you know, doors open and the show is on. Band walks offstage... and it all repeats! These are the unsung heros of this tour - or any tour, any band. It's amazing what those people do.

What time do you guys think KISS will play? My girlfriend is coming but she has an anxiety issue with huge ass crowds. I'd like to get there a bit before KISS starts so we can just watch them and not be in a huge crowd for too long.

Same set list as Austin. Good show! Def Leppard sounded better than I thought they would. Joe's voice started to give way during the last two songs.

Just got back from the show! It was fantastic!!! Gene and Paul both flew. Gene spit blood and breathed fire!
Paul thanked God for blessing him with Kiss!
Paul did the curfew rap.
Def Leppard sounded very good. Kobra and the Lotus are no joke. They are heavy metal lead by a nice-looking young lady by the name of Kobra Paige. I got to meet them after their set! Very cool! #3 on the hard rock and heavy metal charts.
The arena looked pretty full to me. I originally bought $50 seats and was 4 rows from the back. Before the show I went to guest services in an attempt to "trade up" and landed in the closest section on Gene's side on row 20!
