Based on this review, you would conclude Leogun stole the show. WTF?

The Triumphant Return of KISS
Going to a KISS concert is like being inside of a magnificent rock n roll comic book. The quartet which is comprised off "The Star Child", "The Demon", "The Spaceman" and "The Catman" are larger-than-life heroes that dominate the stage with their heavy rock music, wild pyrotechnic fire show and elaborate costumes. And DOMINATE they did last night at our Portsmouth Amphitheater!

KISS will be rocking it for many years to come. Their energy level is top notch and it's so much fun to hear them pump out their classic hits. They are a sight to behold! It is absolutely thrilling to photograph this band from the pit. To be that close up to these cartoonish, evil-looking rock n rollers while they captivate their crowd is outstanding!

Just another non KISS fan that can't admit to being swallowed up by the bombast, camp, and all out assault of the senses that only our boys can bring. She's a real rock and roll correspondent and she wanted to report on the gritty and hungry opening band. P & G's bank accounts were built in these reviews. The only part that matters is the "nearly every spot filled" part of the review. Now if I can only get a solid capacity for the venue I could mark it in my files. I'm putting down ~6,500 for the record books. I'll have a full 2013 report soon enough.

Both the review I posted and the one K70 posted came from the same site, it's all fair. But aside from the "nearly every spot filled" quote, the "half filled" for Leogun caught my eye. I guess that's cause I'm one of those cheapskates that never miss the opening band and never(unless it's an emergency) take a bathroom or drink break while there's a band on the stage.

I was trying to do as much research as I could about nTelos. It appears it's quite out of the way. One article I read reported that acts that play here generally draw 55% of what they do in like sized venues. The boys seemed to knock it out of the park regardless. Maybe some of these 2013 North American venues will stay on KISS' radar on the "off" years they don't hit the major markets.
