Also, there is a large rotating add for the shows on a billboard in the east end of the city. To anyone who is familiar with the city, it's out on Torbay road near the Stavanger Drive area. It's the same as the add that I put up a few weeks back in this thread.

They must be making a push to sell those final seats for the second show.

Of note...Gene's bass solo tonight was similar to the one that he did during the 1980's. A lot more playing than the buffalo farts. In fact, there was quite a bit of actual playing. A friend who attended the show with me tonight, who also saw the Montreal show, said that this has been added in the last 2-3 shows.

Amazing, and I realized that wss the first time I've seen them in an arena since the reunion tour. Added bonus, got my tix from VIP Nation and they said St. John's was the first city they were doing this in, got us in for our M&G pic, indivdual too. So a great night. Doing it again tomorrow!

Of note, I found it funny that the fire alarms were going off as people were leaving the arena.

Commentary:

Paul's voice seemed weak early, but actually seemed to improve after the solo break and God of Thunder.

This show is impressive in a 13,000 seater. It is completely over the top in a 6,500 seater.

Everything was there. Spidey worked well. No problems.

Gene was the MVP.

The crowd was loud, and seemed to have a great time.

Definitely 90% casuals. That being said, they seemed to enjoy the songs like War Machine, and (surprisingly) Out of This World in the sections around where I was located.

As we were leaving, the fire alarms went off.

Good times.

Do a theatre tour, I'd have some interest in that. Just the logo, some amps, and minimal to no pyro.
