Pretty excited about this show because.....

...in 1977 my dad took me to my first concert ever which was KISS.

So on July 26 2013 I am taking my 11 year old daughter to her first concert which will be of course, KISS.

Looks like a decent night for an outdoor show, a rarity on this particular tour.

Clear, moderate temperatures, little wind and no rain.

Should be a great night for a show.

Since they aren't doing the Instant Live recordings anymore, I'm hoping someone will be recording and/or filming this show!

I'm especially excited because I had to miss The Tour last year because of work, so I need a KISSfix!

Probably leftovers from M&G packages and stuff like that. I was checking what tickets were available earlier this week, the 100/200 levels were sold out, and the 300 levels seemed mostly full. I predict that people who bought lawn tickets are gonna be upgraded.

I just brought up SEC 103 ROW K SEATS 7-8.

If I could unload mine, I'd go for the slight upgrade.

Great night! I wasn't expect Paul to start Black Diamond from the love gun platform, or play it on an Ibanez PS10 cracked mirror guitar!

With "Calling Dr Love" added, could this be the beginning of the rotating encore again?

It was great to see you Behavior - sorry we did'nt talk long it was just to crazy around me :-)

Great show and lots of Pyro and like some one said Deuce was replace with Calling Dr. Love. Paul voice didn't seem to bad at the Toronto show I thought it sounded good.

All in all an awesome show!

Good sized crowd (I would estimate the place was roughly 80% full), the band were in high spirits and it was so good seeing them smile at each other throughout the show. It seemed like they were genuinely having a blast up there tonight!

Agreed about Paul's voice, other than the intro to Heaven's On Fire, I thought Paul's voice was pretty strong tonight. I barely noticed any struggling from him.

yes! after seeing Gene bring out the Spector (or a copy at least) last year and Paul bust out an Ibanez, it seems Toronto gets some cool vintage guitar each time lol

btw, the guitar was beaten to hell, all the much of the mirror where pauls hand sits was missing - but was cool anyways, hopefully some video turns up soon

I was disappointed that Gene remained on his side of the stage for the whole show.

Was hoping to get one of his picks, was able to get picks from both Paul and Tommy.

As mentioned, below a decent crowd (the estimate of 80% seemed about right, which would make the attendance in the neighbourhood of 11,000).

Deuce dropped in favour of Dr. Love.

More pyro than the Sonic Boom tour.

Paul mentioning the Victory Theatre (the Toronto club the band played once back in 1974) prior the DRC.

Despite the naysayers (Paul's voice isn't what it as, the setlist is stale etc...), I dare anyone to attend a Kiss show and not enjoy themselves.

And ya, the band really has crossed generational lines. Maybe its because where I was sitting but there was some 8-year old decked out in full Gene garb, and next to me, were a couple of guys who say they saw the band at Maple Leaf Gardens back in 1976.

Thanks for the great shots! And it certainly crossed generational lines, I brought my two boys (6 and 5) and couldn't believe how kind everyone was to them. One of my sons is in a wheelchair, but seeing kiss is his dream so I thought we'd go for it not knowing what to expect, and the treatment we received from staff at the Molson amphitheater and KISS fans was incredible. I'm proud of KISS, but I'm also proud of the KISS army

I'm not sure how they do math in Canada but at 80% capacity the number comes in at 12,800. Not to mention even at 11,000 you still would call it "below a decent crowd". What do you consider "decent"? Maybe I'm missing something in the translation from up there in the great white north.

I'm just breakin' balls. I was originally intrigued by the "11,000 is below a decent size crowd" comment, then I did the math on 16,000 x 80% full = 12,800. Canada's cool in my book. I went to the Saddledome show a few years back and had a great time. I was sorry to hear about its demise on this go 'round.
