European "Monster" Tour Recap
Fact checking
I'm still concerned about the validity of the reporting of Italian stage hand injuries, the cancelation of the M&Gs and anything else I've possibly overlooked.

Re: European "Monster" Tour Recap
I see there is ~16,000 posted for the June 10th Berlin show when the Berlin metropolitan area newspaper, Berliner Kurier has attendance down as 22,000? I try to research attendance personally for all shows. If there's no boxscore I go to a composite of local newspapers. I've found no info to support your number.

50 000 is max capacity for Friends Arena in Solna, Sweden.
But you possibly mean that 35 000 is the max capacity for the configuration of the stadium that Kiss used (parts of the stadium were closed off)?

Oh yeah, and Friends Arena is in Solna, not in Stockholm. (Solna is a city, north of Stockholm)

I'd say Stockholm is fine, I was just there, there was nothing in Solna, and 8 minutes by subway from Stockholm, I would call it a suburb.jannep17 wrote:Oh yeah, and Friends Arena is in Solna, not in Stockholm. (Solna is a city, north of Stockholm)

Berlin was sold out on the day of the concert.nibbler1982 wrote:I see there is ~16,000 posted for the June 10th Berlin show when the Berlin metropolitan area newspaper, Berliner Kurier has attendance down as 22,000? I believe that was the 22nd Sweden Rock Festival and not the 30th

Of course it's a suburb, but it's still its own place, like when you write Norje instead of Sölvesborg about Sweden Rock Festival.bjohnsen74 wrote:I'd say Stockholm is fine, I was just there, there was nothing in Solna, and 8 minutes by subway from Stockholm, I would call it a suburb.jannep17 wrote:Oh yeah, and Friends Arena is in Solna, not in Stockholm. I heard that Forum, Copenhagen have capacity for 8000, not 12000

That appears to be correct my friend. The Forum website states 8,500 capacity for a seated end stage concert.Jockus wrote:I heard that Forum, Copenhagen have capacity for 8000, not 12000

Re: European "Monster" Tour Recap
The comment "spider malfunctions for much of the show" for Copenhagen is an understatement. I was very close to the stage and I didn't see it move one inch during the whole night...
