I will be there, but not sure if I'll be able to report during the show. When a large group of people gather somewhere on the Swedish countryside, phones have a tendency to be useless. I'll still try, though...

Of course not, but they will be lowered onto the stage, standing on the spider. That's what Kiss calls "flying".

Kiss today,Rush is headling Saturday. 3 - 4 day tickets sold out. Wed tickets sold out,Thursday tickets sold out(2 batches of extra tickets released and sold out),tickets still left for Friday, tickets still left for Saturday. KISS Day was the bigest day of the festival with more tickets sold for that day than any other day.

They are playing Calling Dr Love now, I heard that spider got stucked in the beginning. The audience is lazy and Gene is again in a good shape.

Problems with "The Spider" again at Sweden Rock, looks like it is not working...(heard via cell phone)

Shoddy reporting from this site(link site). If the preliminary reports are to be believed, it's (today)the biggest attendance ever at SRF. That means they topped 35,000 if true.

From Press meeting with the band before the concert: Someone asks why Eric Singer is in Peter Criss´make up? Paul: For every person like you asking a silly question, there are 35000 people. (free translation from swedish.)

Eric Singer: The other guys tried different make up. That didn´t work out. (free translation from swedish.)

Thats not a great answer at all, KISS rarely has 35 000 attend a concert, and even if those figures were accurate there would be more than 1 person thinking that way.
They still want people to believe its the originals.

Since 2004 it's been clear who is performing on stage.
Before you purchase a ticket or a cd know what you're buying.
It's all on you. Paul and Gene did their part.

A better question would be why isn't Peter Criss wearing his makeup?

Answer: Because he's a dick, can't play and sold his makeup to Gene and Paul.

With only 17 full songs being performed, Nothing To Lose would be a nice addition to the set.

No they don't. They've been to all these countries before with Tommy & Eric and people keep coming back knowing who is in the band.

They have, and have always had, that very professional outlook on delivering the best show they can, each and every nite.

To fans that are following them all these years later the night they see KIss is certainly not the most important night, but to a teenager, and even twenty year olds, it was. The night you see them live was THE big night you'd waited for a year, or two years, to experience, and they realized that.

And they still do. 8)

Review in Swedish biggest daily, Aftonbladet:

"This was crap, Kiss" is the headline.

The article ends:

"It often feels like the world's biggest fraud."

"Kiss hasn't been Kiss since 1982", writes reviewer Markus Larsson, who also thinks it often sounds like four people playing four different songs.

What would you have them say, Mister PR? Would another 12 years of non-originals in makeup be enough to convince you they believe in what they're doing?
