This is the first time I won't be attending a KISS show in Brisbane/Queensland.

Not prepared to pay what they're asking for a 'good' seat, and not prepared to pay what they're asking for the nose-bleeds.

I realise a fair slab of the ticket price is for the other bands sharing the stage; I don't want to pay anything to see Motley.

Would be happy to see Lizzy on their own though.

Hope those attending get their money's worth.

$135 I noticed.

Plus booking fee.

What were these tickets priced at originally?

The Melbourne Destroyer tickets were $135 + booking fee originally, unless you purchased them through Showbiz, then tehy were $160.

I'm sure they never thought to check the equipemnt at a rehearsal. Ground breaking stuff right there.

Was that really necessary ...

I'm sure they did too .... after all .... from the sounds of it that's all they do at rehearsals - check equipment and others work.
What else do they have to do.... practice songs they've played for years and years and years ?

Okay here it goes. I'm not really a review type of person.

Diva Demolition = Awful

Thin Lizzy:
A tight unit and i was actually surprised how many songs i knew. I personally think they should have been the first opener and left DD out of the billing.

Motley Crue: It show was the best i've seen of the 3 i've seen this tour. Their stage is better than KISS' and gets used better.
Vince was running around the stage like he hadn't even gone into surgery.
Mick has been the MPV this tour. Tight playing.
Nikki is Nikki.
Tommy Lee again his usual teenage self. His rollercoast seem to have troubles at first (It didn't move with the screen) but still a professional.

KISS:
I was talking to Ross Halfin before the show. (He politely asked if he could stand infront of me during the curtain drop and gave me about 6 "The Tour" guitar pics.)
KISS' playing was probably the best i've seen out of the 3 shows but something was lacking. The crowd seemed pretty bored but so did the 2 Melbourne show crowds.
Eric must have been hot last night because half of his make-up was running off by the end of the show. Solid drumming and vocals.
Tommy in my eyes is the strongest member of the band today. His playing has improved since the last tour of Australia and also his stage presence. I was glad they played Outta This World.
Gene is sounding amazing. His vocals are strong which is good because he doesn't move around all that much anymore. He seemed into it last night.
Paul is Paul. With all his surgeries he still moves pretty well for a 61 year old. His vocals weren't as strong as the Melbourne shows but i personally think they are stronger than 2012. He is starting to know his limits.

Pictures will be added soon. I haven't made it home yet.

For the kind of money he's pulling in, I'd turn up on stage still in my hospital dressing gown.
In all seriousness, good on him.
