The curfew does suck. The ampitheater is right in the middle of a business area, and there are homes not too far away. As much as I don't agree with it, I can see why they have a curfew there.

Hell, I work many miles away...and on a clear night, like tonight....you can hear the concert from the rooftop here. And I will be up there...

Both shows were great.
I thought KISS had better sound.
Paul's voice was rough especially between songs. Gene DID fly but KISS did not add any song into the encore.

The place was totally packed. I was very surprised considering how many tickets were being offered on Craigslist from online scalpers for below ticket prices. A heavily papered show for sure.

I'd say this reviewer is a bigger KISS fan than he is a Crue fan.

I wouldn't say Motley phoned it in. They were giving it the old college try but I did enjoy KISS more and the crowd seemed more excited to see KISS. I saw a lot more KISS shirts in the crowd. I'm a Motley fan too so I don't think I'm being biased. Tommy Lee bitched the crowd out for being quiet at one point but the other guys were having a great time.

If the Headline band has to stop BEFORE 11,Then the venue has problems that need to be addressed.I've been many times,and never seen a show end at 10:40.However,I have heard that the band has to pay a fine if it goes past 11.Not asking any band to do that,but 20 mins. or more is too much cushion!

More makeup needs to be added...especially on Gene. Jeeeezus. If you don't bring the makeup a little lower and actually get it under where your jawbone used to show, then you look like you have a cheap mask on, and your head/face look that much fatter. Make fun of Paul all you want, but Gene looks a lot worse in most of the pictures I see. Good Lord, look at the pics in the concert review. Ugh...
