Ahh... you are right! Forgot about that crazy timezone.

I guess we've actually got 45 minutes more to go before the meat of the setlist has fully been played.

I think Buckcherry is still on. Ferk (James) should be filling us in.

They won't...at least not yet. Still glad to see Say Yeah in there! My guess is that Shock Me will be replaced with When Lightning Strikes next...especially given it's position within the setlist.

I think they should drop Shock Me. It kinda goes too far. On top of that, it was overplayed during the reunion era.

Add WLS if they want Tommy to sing, even though I like other Sonic Boom songs more. They should also add a Gene song from Sonic Boom.

Yeah, it's been discussed to death but Shock Me needs to go.

And they should add I'm An Animal as the new Gene bloodspitting song.

Personally I'd rather see them keep Shock Me (gotta give Tommy something to sing) and add All for the Glory and/or Yes I know instead.

I'd also like to know how the downtown Nashville KISS party went. Downtown Nashville is a pretty kick ass party all the time no matter what music is your flavor.

someone posted KISS taking the stage 17 minutes ago..

Mattman who posts here is there and posting pics of the opening act on Facebook. He should have photos of Ace up soon too. There is a huge Ace Anomoly cd cover behind the stage.

I agree. I think "When Lightning Strikes" could be the next addition -- and I hope that it is. Until that happens (IF it happens), I hope they continue to play "Shock Me" as I rather have Tommy sing something than nothing at all.

Why does Tommy HAVE to sing anything though?

For one reason only...to make it easier on Paul and Gene.

He doesn't HAVE to, but I prefer to have every member of the band sing a song. That's what I've always loved about KISS no matter who was in the band.

Just got back to the hotel.

Great night. Very big crowd (not packed...looked bigger than Cleveland).

Got to meet Gene again. I have pics, video, everything...I'll post details later. I even got a Gold Gene solo album from the late 70's out of the detail.

Say Yeah ROCKED! I loved hearing it live.

No rockets during Shock Me from Tommy's guitar.

Gene did not do the "bell routine" during the bass solo.

I was front row center...got tons of pics...I'll post the best ones later.

No video of the actual concert. I really tried during SAY YEAH but it was impossible right in the very front.

GOOD TIMES!!!

I saw Doc at the Palm beforehand. No surprises in the set, but I thought Cold Gin was still in it...

Also saw my friend John Corabi in the bathroom after the show, I didn't get a chance to hook up with him beforehand. Funny how his place is pretty well known in Kiss circles but he was completely anonymous...

I will say, overall, Paul sounded better than usual lately. The interplay and fun onstage was very evident, and Gene was very much the demon and not just playing the caricature of himself. I got a shitload of pictures that I haven't uploaded yet.

You guys aren't gonna believe this...

My Gene meet and greet area was just passed the dressing rooms. At one point I heard the guys outside warming up, singing Say Yeah acapella (no music). It was weird hearing them sing that tune...no amps, no instruments...harmonies were tight. I think I have a small piece of the audio on one of my video clips.

Hate I didn't get to meet up with any of my fellow FAQers. My schedule was kinda crazy before the show. I'll make it up to when I upload some of my stuff when i get home.

A taste from front row center

Thank GOD "IWMFLY" was dropped :pukel: But "Shock Me"? C'mon, please..

No King Of The Night Time World, I Stole Your Love, C'mon and Love Me, Cold Gin, Nothin' To Lose, Got To Choose, Watchin' You.. Set-list was very BORING to me.

I'm recuperating from the show!! After a 5 year hiatus, it was awesome to see them live again. We had awesome 5th row center seats...check out my Facebook pics from the link below.

Here's my thoughts/observations in a nutshell:

Buckcherry did a pretty good job..glad Josh wasn't as vulgar as I have heard from other people

Paul sounded pretty great..seemed to hit the notes

Witnessed a couple from row three center get engaged (whoever you are, congrats) He was in Gene makeup and she was in Paul makeup..this was during "Love Gun"

I think Tommy's guitar malfunctioned during his solo..am I right?? No rockets shot out from it...what happened there???

Personally, I think he needs his own solo to do..rather than copying Ace's

Picks were flying by mine and my husband's heads, but we never managed to get one...the guy right beside us ended up with two of em

Received a lot of compliments on my shirt...thanks peeps..wouldn't have it if it weren't for Ebay

Loved the new stage as compared to the last time I saw them

Was thrilled they played "Say Yeah"!! They need to add more new songs for sure

Wish they had played "War Machine"

Saw two of Taylor Swift's guitar players and Darrin saw Big John from Rock of Love

I think it was virtually impossible to find anyone from FAQ at the show...sooo many KISS people..how could you tell who was who??? Sorry tho, wish I could have met you guys..

So many cute kids in full KISS makeup!! They rock.. I can't wait to take my daughter to one of the shows when she gets older.

All in all, it was an awesome night!!!! Can't wait to do it again!!

Tommy's guitar did malfunction. I could see him saying something to the tech about it when he swapped guitars.

I found the setlist quite refreshing. Glad to here some different tunes.
