The place is massive and that third section is WWWAAAYYYY up there. I've seen many shows up there. Always wondered if you changed zip codes when you get that far up :o

Shouldn't be too bad....it's the section closest to the stage and the seats are in the front row of the section. Got much better seats for Chicago in a couple weeks.

I'm here -- whoo-hoo!! I'd say the place is going to be a good 85% full. It looks like only the very top 8 rows all the way around are going to be empty. Definitely a good crowd here in Tampa! Well, here's hoping for some "Shock Me" tonite . :D

Wow, there is no reason to check these threads really. For the Stones it was a treat to have these threads cuz they always play surprises but KISS really doesn't bother.

I really will never understand why they choose to do "Shock Me" when Tommy has a lead vocal song of his very own. I guess I just don't think on the same level as them. It's puzzling, to say the least.

really, they've already made more changes than they normally do over the course of a tour (RTN excluded)....

remember, for the European tour, they dropped 3 songs and that was it, same set for the rest of the tour.

So far they've played 4 different songs than they played at the start of the tour and have swapped around the order a couple of times including opening with a different song for a couple of shows.

I expected nothing from this tour and my expectations have been exceeded. I still get excited checking these show threads each night looking for reviews and reports of each show. You never know which night they might add Hooligan and the whole board loses it's mind again. LOL.

They're still down to 17 songs, that concerns me more than what songs they play. I don't see any reason they should play less than 20 songs...especially because all 4 switch vocals...

7. Dr. Love
8. She
9. Parasite

Of the three shows that I've heard so far (Both Detroit and Philly), it's this section of the show that just plain RIPS. Of course in those shows it was Watchin' You instead or Dr. Love, but you get the picture.

Damn I hope Paul gets better soon.

I've seen KISS 20 times and I've never seen them play She (and Parasite only once) and both of those are probably in my Top 5, so I'm very much looking forward to hearing those tunes!

I like the new arrangement of Shock Me and wouldn't mind hearing that as well.

which would be absolutely nuts considering they've known exactly when this album was going to drop for months, exactly when this tour was going to start, and had tons of non-tour time to rehearse new material over the summer.

Just got back.
Pretty great show,imo.
No new songs, but Gene did fuck up the lyrics to Parasite

Paul sounded great. There were a few spots where you could tell he was having minor issues, but it really wasn't too noticeable.

All in all it was a great time :D

Got some decent pics and a couple vids. I'll post later when I can get them uploaded.

Just got back as well. Same setlist as Pensacola, but was a great show! Decent crowd....looked to be around 85-90% capacity. Lots of empty seats during Buckcherry, but by the time Kiss hit the stage, they all filled in.

Paul sounded really good. Didn't notice many rough spots at all in his vocals tonight. As much as I would like to hear more off of Sonic Boom, the crowd response was lukewarm at best when Paul mentioned the album. One more show for me now in Chicago...unless by some miracle they hit Orlando later in the tour.

Would love to see your pics and videos!

My very first KISS show was tonight in Tampa, and I was blown away!!!! The energy the guys had was unbelievable! And Paul sounded great, like Dursin said (I wish they come to Orlando too!)

Wasn't entirely impressed with Buckcherry at all. They could've gotten someone better.

I have to thank KISS for giving me the opportunity to see them by continuing to tour. It has been a dream of mine for the past 7 years to see them live, and now that dream has finally came true. I find myself wanting to go to another show, and I hope that they do come to Orlando next leg.

I cracked up laughing when Gene forgot the lyrics to Parasite, haha.
