Cleveland sticky thread for those with wireless access for updates from the show, before, during, after. Remember, have fun!

If using Crackberry or similar, test your logon/access in advance. I've stickied this so that you can bookmark it, since that was helpful for my method on previous shows I updated from. If you're posting images direct to a Twitter or other page, please share the link in advance!

LMGRAR has been moved around at all 3 shows now. Something tells me we're getting IWMFLY but I hope not. I thought that was going to happen the 2nd night at Cobo but didn't

I see a song being played that hasn't on this tour for sure.

Just did a twitter search, are they using some new effects on the video screen, there is one with separate pics of each members framed by flames, all on the scren at one time, it looks pretty good.

How big is the crowd, rumor had it that attendance didn't look good?

Can you help a "Twitter-challenged" guy? How does one do a Twitter search for KISS Cleveland pix?

The suspense is killing me! Glad to see MDD moved up...maybe there's hope they won't play most of Alive now.

It's still looking pretty Alive-ish. Ugh. I'm hoping they start changing it up a bit more as the week progresses. I see them next Monday and I hope it changes a bit. I'll still enjoy the heck out of myself and I'd be very happy if they keep "Hotter Than Hell" but I'd still like them to mix the newer with the older.

Just go to twitter.com and type "Kiss Cleveland" in the search and you'll see some results. there is guy there with a url posted of his pics. Some of Buckcherry as well.

So, so disappointing thus far. I really wish I could believe this band was as versatile as advertised. Sure doesn't seem that way.

Makes you wonder how many songs the four of them could actually play live together if put to the test. 28? 29?

In a non-orchestrated, ad-libbed, off-the-cuff show? Probably closer to 40. This lineup has played:

STRUTTER
NTL
FIREHOUSE
COLD GIN
KISSIN' TIME
DEUCE
100K
BD
GOT TO CHOOSE
PARASITE
BLIND
HTH
LMGRAR
ALL THE WAY
WATCHIN' YOU
ROCK BOTTOM
C'MON
SHE
LHAIC
RARAN
DRC
KOTNTW
GOT
SIOL
DYLM
I WANT YOU
TAKE ME
DR. LOVE
LOVE 'EM & LEAVE 'EM
MAKIN' LOVE
ISYL
C16
SHOCK ME
LOVE GUN
IWMFLY
CREATURES
LOUD
WAR MACHINE
LIU
HOF
TEARS ARE FALLING
UNHOLY
GGRARTY
PSYCHO CIRCUS
I PLEDGE
MDD

I think part of the issue is that the show is so orchestrated, so planned-out, it's hard to just switch things willy-nilly. That said, this is night one of a tour that is being promoted as Alive 35, and so far it is what it is.

As long as I see KISS on the stage, I'm happy. HOWEVER, they have such a large song catalog, WHY? WHY? WHY? (no, I am not impersonating the NIKON commercial) do they choose the same stuff year after year? Magic Touch, Trial By Fire, Forever, Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell, Who Wants To Be Lonely, I've Had Enough, etc would all be great to hear live I think.

I realize this band played a rotation of 10 relatively rare tracks for one tour (and even then, only 3-4 of them had never been performed before, and most had been performed for entire tours or for multiple tours), but I don't believe for a second that this band could pull off anything like All the Way, Love Her All I Can or Unholy right now. Not unrehearsed.

This is night 3 of the tour, no?

Voices that are a little strained get used to songs that feel comfortable. I don't see "I've Had Enough" working live any more.

They did "Love Her All I Can" unrehearsed in Japan 2 years ago, and it was amazing!

Or night 1, depending on how you look at it. Plus, this tour may change more once the record is released.

Would I like more rare songs? Yes. It is what it is, though, and I'm still digging it!!!

Ladies Room is pretty much my fave Gene song. It's a travesty that it hasn't been played live since the 70s.

Yes.

They're doing themselves and the album such a disservice.

But if it's a mistake that they are willing to make.......

Let's not forget a few months back they did pull Forever out for 1 show, out of the blue.

We also can't forget though that Gene didn't even play along with it

The omission of Cold Gin has got me wondering what they could do. Could they be moving Cold Gin into the encores, be playing another, or just simply cutting the set short by 1 song

I am not expecting any surprise changes until next tuesday. Paul said himself that things will more than likely start to change up once the album is out!

Paul did say that they would be playing 2 1/2 hours and they have yet to reach that time marker so I would say they still have some stuff for us just not for maybe another week!

I do find the moving around of MDD Cold Gin and LMGRNR interesting though!

OH HOW I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE 13TH!!! I just got an e-mail today from someone that knows people and he got me and my parents backstage passes for the show for free! Can't wait to meet my idols again!
