Cobo Night 2 sticky thread for those with wireless access for updates from the show, before, during, after. Remember, have fun!

If using Crackberry or similar, test your logon/access in advance. I've stickied this so that you can bookmark it, since that was helpful for my method on previous shows I updated from. If you're posting images direct to a Twitter or other page, please share the link in advance!

Anyone know if it's possible to attach images here via an iPhone? it's not allowing me to use "choose file" or browse folders to select a file to attach.

That might be an idea of consideration. Listen to the tapes from last night and substitute a song or two if the take was good from last night.

I doubt it will happen, but they did it in 2004 with the Rock the Nation DVD.

Hopefully that's a sign they are breaking further from playing Alive in its "entirety".

So...MDD seems to have bumped Let Me Go Rock n Roll from the setlist. I wonder if IWMFLY will be back in or we'll get a 2nd song from Sonic Boom.

Thanks guys! Really hope KISS dumps the whole Alive 35 shit for a whole new set list! The rest of the tour needs a helping of all-era KISS, and a bit of Sonic Boom thrown in for good measure!

Okay.... so they switched LMGRAR and MDD. Umm, what was the point? Seriously speaking, what's the point of switching those songs? There wasn't a different song to do in the encore section so what's the point of putting MDD up in the set and simply replacing with LMGRAR?

To get a better vocal take? Though I think 4 Paul songs in a row might be pushing it (or not, maybe when he's warmed up it's better to keep him going).

The movement of LMGRNR doesn't seem to make much sense, but they seldom do things without a reason...

No Problem Kiss Army Brothers! It was great! Felt like being part of Kisstory. I'll be seeing Kiss Oct 13 for the first time ever! The stars have lined up and finally me and my Dad can see Kiss! He wanted to take me when I was 6 during the reunion but with my Mom being sick and not being a fan and sadly passing in 1997 I never did and with him being in the navy i couldn't go and my step mom who I call mom also not liking them I couldn't. But in 06 I saw Paul, 07 and 08 Ace and 08 with Bruce. Now it can finally be complete with seeing Kiss in 16 days!

Maybe to help Paul out a bit? Not an easy one to sing. Just early enough so he's warmed up but not at the end when he's fatigued? Eh? I'm grasping at straws.Who knows?

i was hoping to post during the show, but kept getting invaid session errors. so i finally gave up :(

i dont know if anyone mentioned it but genes flying rig didnt work...he tried 2x but eventually gave up. also, for some reason, during black diamond eric said "pauls got me under his thumb". is that usual, or is there some issue between those 2. finally, paul played some of stairway to heaven before black diamond.

it was a great show, i think it was pretty close to sold out if not totally sold out. the crowd was outstanding.

ill try to post my pics tomorrow.

Peter used to sing that all the time on BD - "Paul/Gene's got you under his thumb," which was usually followed up by a "Yeah/yes I do!" from the member in question.

I have to say, this was my favorite KISS show since the first time I saw them - the nostalgia of the whole thing was just epic!!!

I only have phone pics, hopefully it uploads OK. That was one of the best shots I got.

I'm a few weeks late... but I did get the CD of the show. I'd be willing to trade if anyone is interested. I'm looking for two shows particularly - 11/28/98 & 11/29/98 - preferably on CD.

If you don't have those, I don't mind doing b&p's for anyone interested.
