The following four dates threads (for Mexico) may be the emptiest ever in the forum, since I think there are no many mexican posters like myself :)

I can't go to the Monterrey (north) and Guadalajara (west) gigs, but I'll attend the two dates in Mexico City 8)

However, I will try to be aware of the mexican media and report whatever interesting may afloat

Another Mex here, though I'm located south of the border, I'd love to see the media coverage for KISS in Mexico so let us know anything you can.

Hey Genedeuce are you ArturoRockKiss? I think that was your nick from before? I kinda remember you.

Anybody knows when KISS will be landing in Mexico?

Not yet. The advertising doesn't say, which is strange because by the day of the show (today) it should say somewhere

I'll try to look it up in local media...

Here's Ruido Rosa:

Not bad. Very Zeppelinesque.

But TWO bands is a little too much, IMO.

At least that will make KISS to start at nearly 10 pm and I have to work the following day :P

Detroit Rock City (reference to "Monterrey Rock City")

Encores:

Here's another spanish article:

Kiss in Monterrey

The article reports a "sold out" arena. Refers all the adressing from Paul in spanish to the audience and doesn't make a single commentary for the opening band, The Envy (seems that the reporter arrived just for the KISS part).

And the article where our friend GeneDeuce took the video clip from:

El Porvenir report on KISS

This is the only article that makes reference to the first opening act, Ruido Rosa, confirming that there were indeed two opening bands.

The cost of the cups were actually $80 pesos ($6.40 US), beer included and they are really cool.

Great concert by the way.

The beer in cardboard cup is $25, so that makes the special edition cup $55 pesos. Not so bad I say.

I will keep a look to the floor and trash cans since I guess some stupid drunks will throw 'em away

Kissthat, thanks for the great behind the stage pic! That is very cool! The "Song Remains the Same" doesn't it? No matter where the boys go they are met with great ovation.
